Outside of Butler and Bam.....this really is an utterly useless roster with very little redeeming qualities.

Bam should not be off limits at all. I can’t believe after these playoffs anyone still believes Bam as a second option will ever produce a championship in this league.

Now that small ball has been proven to be a failure and Spo exposed as a head coach ... can someone tell me which teams made the Finals and who their twin towers are? I want to know who we should be emulating.

Not as a second option, hell not even as a 4th option. But i do believe Bam can contirbute to a title team. Everyone else is a bum.

Awesome series guys, series was a coinflip between 2 great teams.

I still hate the Heat, but its a VERY respectful hate.

Til next time, I'm betting it won't be long.

The problem is that he’s making too much to not be a second option. That’s why he’s got to go imo. Unless he becomes a completely different player over the course of an off season, he’s not redeemable at his price.

Our entire team outside of Jimmy are overpaid bums. Thats the harsh reality we are dealing with now that the season is over.

Dumping Dragic and Achuiwa for Lowry and this massive contract is criminal. Riley may need to step aside.

I m fine with Bam being our third option and defensive anchor. Let s be honest he will never be our second best option on offense. I know he gets paid like one but he simply isn t. Get another star next to Jimmy and run it back next season.

Bam is paid like he is because Riley and the Heat were played by Giannis and the agent they share.

Remember the whole thing that Giannis would be most intrigued by the Heat if they showed loyalty to players like Bam. LMAO

What bothered me about Lowry was the boneheaded plays. Ok you’re not 100% and not where you were in your younger days but you can’t do dumb chit like that

I kept thinking over and over as this series progressed about how it losing will be even worse to THIS boston team that did little to impress.

I think there’s a nuance of opinion here regarding small ball success in the postseason and having healthy players in the postseason. I never thought small ball in the playoffs was a bad idea. In fact, I said it should be played in the playoffs.

My argument was don’t wear the players out in the regular season. For GS and Boston it was fine because they were relatively healthy. But this Heat team was injured to the limit. I dunno if it would have made a difference. But going small over the course of numerous regular season games definitely didn’t help this team in this series.

People have been fired for lesser moves. Then add the Duncan signing ouch. We need major changes.

Doubt we're shipping Lowry but I can see Duncan moving on and likely Herro too because I can't see us wanting to pay him if he's going to disappear when it counts like that.

Return to Miami Heat
