If this organization pulls one of these star trades off without sacrificing Jimmy or Bam (which I highly doubt is possible), better never see anyone be highly critical of this front office ever again.

Yurt is the only one that can make Martin at the 4 work cause all he does is camp down low and cleans up the mistakes. Bam on the other hand does not so it won’t work. Our defense is going to break down and good luck with second chance shots and Bam over used in the screen game.

Listen to the actual quote. Caleb says he wants to be able to pick up some of the slack that PJ left at the 4. Not some major declaration that will be his permanent spot going forward.

Lol good luck with that. We could get KD for peanuts, win 70 games, make it to the Finals but if KD catches covid and misses games and we lose then you'd hear a lot on here about how inept Riley is for trading our future away for a damaged goods washed up front runner

What's Spoelstra supposed to do, he has Bam, he doesn't have any 4s other than a rookie. Take it up with the FO has put together a roster with Lowry, Robinson, Herro, Strus, Oladipo and Vincent in the 2 guard positions.

The season right after going to the Finals in the bubble the FO delivered Mo Harkless to Spoelstra to replace the Crowder rental at PF.
