I don't think James Posey will return here. It may be the only time Riley has burnt a valuable bridge like that. Posey took 2.7 mill with Boston. I'm sure Riley would have met that after Mo deal and Bell deals fell through. Posey probably took less to avoid the Heat after the fat attacks and Riley discussed Posey's limitations like they were the plague.

I honestly dont know who to go for. I want Odom, Posey, and House to win a ring since they are former Heat players. But if I had to choose right now, I would probably go with the C's. Representing the EC, and they have Posey and House, a couple of fan favs back in MIA.

Lakers probably have the team with the best depth in the league this season. Look at their roster. And Kobe is a great closer. I would give an edge to the Lakers.

Also, I hope the Ray Allen vs Kobe soap opera begins to an entertaining scale...

The Lakers will win because they have a more talented bench and have proven they can keep their composure against the top teams in the league.

The Celtics on the other hand haven't been dominant during the postseason and struggled to win games on the road.

But, hopefully I'm wrong and they go on to win the championship.

^^^
I don't recall Miami being dominant during the 2006 playoff run and we were the underdogs as well during the finals.

I wouldn't discard Boston at all but I agree, Lakers depth seems to give them the edge.

Pretty interesting how Eddie House just gives the Celtics, not to mention the Boston crowd, as soon as he enters the game. They chant "House" for him, and he is still a great streak shooter. He really is infectious with his emotion, hustle, and scoring being real catalysts for Boston runs in these playoffs.

I wish he was still on our team, he would be really great next to D-Wade. Free Eddie House!

BTW Rating for game #2 was an 8.5, Miami-Dallas got a 8.0. This is also significantly lower than Detroit-LA in 04 (game #2 was a 10.7).

Not Doubting kobe, but he looks lost. The guy is the "star" and he is playing like a "Role player". He needs to look back to 2006 and Play like wade. Forget passing the ball and Attack. He needs to put his team on his shoulders and lead them to a win tonight.

im sure he will tonite.. if you notice, he's driving it in the hole ALOT more tonite than game1 & 2..

but as far as him not passing to his teammates... that got him nowhere before, and he wouldnt be in the finals, unless he passed the ball...

as long he keeps driving it in, and the defense collapses.. then his teammates will be wiiiiiiiiiiiiide open..

oh I still hate the fact you got those shoes signed. :P

Pierce and Garnett need to come out more aggressive and make their shots in game 4 and Ray needs to continue his shooting streak.

no doubt.

boston is cleeeeeearly the better team.

I just enjoy when its a competitive finals rather a spurs sweep against the cavs.

In my opinion... C's win game 4, LAL win game 5.

And when I saw Piece get his fifth foul I was hoping it would inspire him to elevate his game like Wade and think, "I ain't going down like this." But it didn't happen.
