lol why you always talking about peoples join dates when u only joined a year ago.

Call me crazy but something seems odd to me about people posting on the Heat board who didn't bother to register until after the Finals

Pushing what? I think he is a great fit next to Lebron with his shooting stroke and passing ability. Chill.
I'm as chill as ever. But your facetious "hero we deserve" remark is not.

Waking up and have a lot of catching up to do.....

1. I don't mind the McBob signing and I'm with the others. I love his game and he's not that bigname player we all wanted unlike Gasol/Deng/Ariza, but he got that deal which if you look at the market right now, is not too shabby.

2. Granger......ehhhh. I guess you can say he's only 30 and all, but eh. I don't hate or like this signing. I'm neutral

3. We can still technically add one piece right? I obviously know you cant use both the exceptions and cap space and by the looks of it we're gonna operate as a capped team.....but if the big 3 take a paycut in the process of becoming a capped team, adding one of Gasol/Ariza/Deng is still mathematically possible if they decide to take paycuts? Or nah and you can only re-sign the big 3 at this point before using the exceptions?

I like that the Heat are attempting to sign McRoberts - anyone who has the ability to get into LeBron's head is a good signing. It means he has a winning fire in him. LeBron should welcome players like that.

Oh, but Evan Kneeless Turner and Josh McRoberts are pretty good too. I'm sure Lebron is dying to play with those two massive talents.

When did the heat sign Evan turner

Lol

My question is can Riley sign Bosh and Lebron to an extended contract, but offer Wade the 2 year 40 million plus he was owed? I'm asking because I think they all opted out assuming they thought could get a bigger name. Now that it seems that isn't going to happen, It would almost seem better to pay Wade his 40 million over 2 years instead of owing him something like 13 million in his fourth year.

Either way he was opting out for a longer deal. If we don't sign anyone else to big money I would think they give him more over 4 years than he was expecting to cut too.

I don't think he was going to opt out either way. He's pretty much guaranteed another contract with the Heat after two years anyways, so I doubt he'd be losing out on that much money or that many years if he could sign a 2 year deal for the amount he opted out of.

Guaranteed money is always better than pretty much guaranteed and if he is pretty much guaranteed another contract after it really doesn't help us in two years then.

Yesterday Cavs fans were straight chillin', sitting pretty, just waiting for LeBron. They didn't need to prove themselves to anyone. Now that loser logo is popping up here next to peoples' usernames again making sure everybody knows how awful signing Danny Granger and Josh McRoberts was.

Honestly, if LeBron stays I'm ecstatic. But if he leaves, I'll wish him the best in all honesty, but laugh at Cleveland fans when they still keep getting beat. Cleveland is the Cubs, not the Red Sox. And it's got a city-wide curse on it. If I had to guess, it probably has something to do with self-inflicted generations of bad karma for Chief Wahoo.

Exactly, because even if LBJ doesn't go back to them, they're still in great position to be an exciting team with 3 number 1 picks! What the hell! I understand some of our moronic posters called them out but whatever. It's win/win for them. They have nothing, literally NOTHING to fear. Why troll us?

McRoberts actually elbowed LeBron twice. Once in Charlotte this past playoffs.... and once when he was a Laker.

Perennially losing city, perennially losing fan base. I guess after decades of being the choke-joke of every professional American sports league you start to develop chihuahua syndrome. If your teams have no bite, the fans will just bark really loud for recognition.

Hornets fans affectionately called him McJesus. Very good passing big man.

I like the signing a LOT.

Not really a big fan of the McBob signing.

I’m told LeBron James isn’t really fond of Danny Granger, for whatever that’s worth.

I like McBob, I don't like the fact that we spent the full MLE on him.

Charlotte offered him a lower contract than us and he was actually mulling staying there!! :o
