Love helps with rebounding, and he's use to playing next to Bam, and he can get to the line. That's 3 out of 4 things we're looking for, and Jimmy could do the other 1/4- which is close.

They're at about the same rate of interest for me

Obv we’d be capped out til the next four years

We'd be amazing.....

if the regular season was only 45 games long.

Sure its unlikely but if that's his decision then its a 100% certainty that he won't be moved and spends the rest of his career watching from home come June. If Paul wants to be stubborn and think he deserves an unprecedented $44mil at age 37 then that's up to him.

It really doesn't matter to Miami if he wants to keep his money. But by all indications and how quickly CP3 and his agent are trying to get him out of OKC I wouldn't be surprised if he comes back to reality and decides to take a two year 6mil per room exception in 2021 to get moved to Miami.

That and the health are the only issues

rebounding would be premium with Jimmy/Winslow/Love/Bam tho, gives us something to boast about.

Wish Griffin was something we could hit our heads against the wall with instead of this.

Most realistic, he plays great and gets traded for or year three of his deal he works on a buy out and plays for a contender. The idea of leaving 40+ mil is beyond stupid. Wade left the Heat when we didnt want to pay him market value. This is a business first and foremost not some family, i fully expect him to keep his 40+ mil and get a buyout in the last year.

Heck lets be realistic here. Even if he gives up 40+ mil we would still not be the favorites to make it out of the East. Yeah unless he is getting financial advice from Anthony Cater and Sprewel, even then lol they would tell him to keep the money.

Flash4thewin wrote:Best case sounds like Winslow off the bench as our backup PG and playing with Herro at the backup SG position. Or Spo might start him at PF. If this is the plan and it sound like it, trading Winslow, Dragic and Herro for Westbrook might have made more sense.
Or a Dragic injury, and I hate saying that because I'd never wish injury upon another player. After last season, I felt that getting rid of Dragic for nothing would've been a good move in it of itself, but no one in the league wants him despite being a fan-favorite on an expiring contract.

Exactly. The next contract Paul lands won't even amount to 15M or 20M in total, but he's going to give up 40M for one season?

No way, he'll end up playing for another team. The only possibility I see is a buyout in the last year, where he foregos 5M-10M. But that's about it.

EVERYONE needs to STOP!

NO TO CP3 (Why the **** are we even considering this old bum thats gonna use up our 2021 cap???)

HELL F'N NO TO KEVIN LOVE!

Everyone needs to take a deep breath and a step back and MOVE ON. We swung and missed on Russ thats it its over. Off season over. We got Jimmy for literally WHiteside and JRich. (Great move) Now let the young guns run it and develop and keep our cap sapce in the most important summer there will be (2021)

If he doesn’t want to give up the last year that’s on him. His decision. But I doubt he will find a team willing to pay him 44 million instead of going after the best FA class possibly in history. He will rot in OKC.

Read on Twitter

When former Heat forward Caron Butler watches Heat guard Tyler Herro, he thinks of two names.

‘He’s got a little bit of everything in him; I see a little bit of Jason Williams, I see a little bit of Rex Chapman, I see a little bit from an athletic standpoint, being explosive,” Butler, who’s doing work for NBA TV this summer, said from courtside during Las Vegas Summer League.

Lol the first time I saw Tyler play, I said he reminded me of a young Mike Miller (Orlando) without the back issues.

I'm gonna keep bringing up this name. Robert Covington, he would fit perfectly as glue guy 3D small forward. Minnesota needs a point guard.

PG: Justise Winslow
SG: Jimmy Butler
SF: Robert Covington
PF: Kelly Olynyk
Ce: Bam Adebayo

That would be top 3 defensive teams in the NBA.

Yeah, they view him the way we viewed J-Rich. Goran Dragic will not fetch RoCo...

Minny gonna have to make a decision. They have Wiggins, Okogie and Culver that needs minutes and development.

So naturally, they should trade him for below market value...
