All games today have been cancelled and will be rescheduled. It's up in the air if the playoffs will resume. It takes one team going home to cancel everything. I guess the players will meet at some point to decide their next move

Celtics and Raptors are boycotting as well. Which means Miami Heat is the 2020 NBA Champions by default OP Idalo.

The Magic didn't boycott, they showed up on court. So it's only fair the finals should be Magic vs Heat. Tough opponent but I like our chances

Oh yeah Orlando Magic. Let me stay da phuck outa way then

I wonder how this will impact Giannis wanting to leave in free agency. He probably won’t want to stay in Milwaukee anymore

They wouldn't have sat out if Giannis wasn't in. This won't have any impact. Giannis will leave if he feels he can't win a ring with the Bucks.
It impacts Bucks more than Giannis. It limits what they can do with Giannis. No playoffs means they can't really trade Giannis so they have to take chances in FA.
If there were playoffs and Bucks were to loose in 2nd round. They could preemptively think about trading him in the summer to gain assets. If Bucks don't make finals this year no way he stays

Idk if they cancel the plaoyffs Giannis will be the ultimate winner to me having won both MVP and DPOY and everyone else didn't win anything. Not a bad look for him at all I don't see how this (if this this being the szn gone) will impact his decision negatively for the Bucks.

So that's it probably. Don't see what's the point of sitting out for a couple of days and at the same time, noone gonna sit in the bubble without basketball

Why would the players want to one up the nba? They arnt the low life cops shooting People in the back. I thought there was a feeling the league is doing a good job shining light on the issue, it seems that way to me anyway

It's too bad because it's been a while since 5-6 teams are actually contending in the playoffs

LAL, LAC, MIL, TOR have a legitimate shot, BOS, MIA, HOU have a distant shot imho

I just don't see how this will help. Seems sort of dramatic to me.

If they boycott today, they will surely boycott tomorrow, and the next day, and so on. IIRC, the NBA loses over 100m every single day the bubble goes on. Boycotting will only extend the duration of the bubble environment for this season. I know, I know, some things are more important than money, but there's no way the CBA will be happy about this. And like I said before, I don't really see how boycotting is ultimately going to help the situation?

This is dumb. Gives the heat more of a break for better or worse.
