And I am OK getting rid of Herro’s T-Rex arms and one dimensional game for DeRozan or a starting PF.
Struss is the second shooter.

If Herro goes we probably end up signing Danny Green.

I like Struss, but if we end up losing Herro and Nunn where does our offensive play making come from off the bench. Our on off splits from the starting unit would be much rougher to look at. Herro does more than just shoot the ball for us, and I don't know if there is a player we can afford that can replace that for our bench.

Not exactly, say Miami adds DeRozan somehow, he could start at PF allowing Miami to bring PJ off the bench, if DeRozan isn't giving Miami an advantage at PF, you could shift him to a wing during the game and go with PJ, Bam and Dedmon at PF and C. It would allow Spoelstra to play how he wants and also allow him to make some nice in game adjustments.

Nice in game adjustments he would never make because he never does LOL

You're welcome LeBron.

Tyler Herro is a TURD.
Bam is NOT elite but is getting better.
Fire Spoelstra!
Josh Heupel is coming for you.

He hasn't had a good defensive big vet to go to other then Dedmon. I wouldn't trust KZ or Precious myself.

I really would like to keep Nunn as a backup we will surely needed and off the bench he can do some serious damage in scoring.
Also I wouldn't mind keeping Hero, kid can still get better the payoff could be significant, especially if we in turn raise his value to the point we can trade him down the line and get picks in return to reload on that end for future trades.

The fact that all these wings are coming off the board and DeRozan is still unsigned obviously tells you the Heat are trying to work something out.

We still don't even know the details of the Lowry trade, of specifics. this may be true there could be a 3 or 4 team trade happening where parts are moving everywhere and specifics need to be detailed. Usually one team or one player still hasn't agreed.

Nunn and Herro off the bench would be good to have. They are also very close and have that chemistry. Let’s bring Nunn back and add a few more solid vets. With over 11 million left under the cap we can offer Nunn something like a 7 mil per 2 year deal with a chance to give him an option to test free agency again.

Agreed, I would add a third team option year on Nunn though, Lowry contract runs through 3 years. We want a safety net of having a PG in toe incase he gets injured during his term we don't want to be hustling a buyout player/min player to play the PG spot.

KNunn is about to get squeezed out the market unless the Knicks or Pelicans come calling.

I think that's very likely at this point. Would love to keep him just not sure someone won't take a flyer on him

Give Nunn the most we can offer considering hard cap, roster spots to fill with minimums.

Should be around 7-8 Mil. Not great for him but reasonable. We need him both as a backup and as moveable contract.

This makes a lot more sense then DeRozan at this point. I think DeRozan will get his 18-20 in a S&T with another team.

Every time a decent sf/pf goes off the board, I get more and more pessimistic. I don’t know how they can look at the forward rotation, even assuming a veteran addition at the minimum, and be anything but horrified.

It has been our weakness for years, and we simply refuse to address it. Crowder was a lucky event, and we even wasted that by not resigning him to a value deal.

Derozan is coming here and you can bank on it. It’s a done deal, according to my sources (I don’t have sources but it’s just my gut feeling, probably my appendix actually).
