I absolutely am.

Rumors suggest Riley awkwardly passed gas in the meeting yesterday and Hayward was "uncomfortable" according to sources.

My sources tell me that Hayward took a whiff and said "So that's what winning smells like!"

As indicated by the teams that I follow, I'm a Patriots fan. However, I find it near impossible to talk with Boston fans about football because they are some of the most biased, homerish, and immature fans you can find. There are some good ones out there, but they are far outnumbered by the rest.

I'd recommend sticking to the GB if you want to talk about other teams, because going to a board like Boston's to play devil's advocate isn't going to turn out well.

I'm still banned from the GB smh

The sense I get from Cs fans is that they legit fear Riley to the point where they almost expect Hayward to sign down here. And it pisses them off lmao

Sardines to keep an eye on at the moment: Ersan Illyasova, Marreese Speights, Nick Young, Jeff Green, Thabo Sefolosha, Omri Casspi, Aaron Afflalo, Tyreke Evans, Anthony Tolliver, CJ Miles, Jordan Hill

Of those sardines I really like Illyasova and Speights might also be worth a look. Young/Green/Thabo swingmen may or may not be of interest depending on what happens with Hayward and JJ/Dion

Albert has found $500K more than I have. I think that McGruder's salary isn't 100% guaranteed. When in doubt please trust his numbers.

If we add Hayward and bring back JJ, do any of you guys see any more moves happening after that?

They wouldn't have to worry about it if Ainge had the nuts to pull the trigger on a trade where he actually gives up something of value. Any dumbass can say yes to an offer of a bunch of first round picks for two washed up former stars.

TFW you trade the pick of a almost sure thing superstar to draft another wing, who may or may not be able to score at the NBA level, because you're committed to a 5'9 PG, who can't play defense.

TFW a Celtics fan

TFW having one of the leagues largest war chests in recent memory your GM still can't make an impact signing

If they swing and miss on Hayward and fail to capitalize on their little window for success until the Bucks, and 76ers youth blows by them I will laugh my ass off. Good luck winning **** when you're going to be paying a 34 year old Al Horford 30 mil, and maxing Isaiah Thomas

Spoiler alert: Winning doesn't happen like that

Yes. If we land Hayward, there will be pressure to add more pieces around him, Whiteside, and Dragic. Or maybe just him and Whiteside, because our "big 3" still wouldn't be big enough to compete for a championship. The closer you get, the greater the urgency to act.

Unless you're Danny Ainge.

Wayne's money is currently not counted against our $35 mill budget. If we opt in, we are down to roughly 29

Thanks. So if we're lucky enough to get Hayward, Ellington will surely be gone. Not a big deal, but his shooting off the bench would be nice to have

Seeing Celtics fans freak out because they took Gordon and Robyn to Fenway is kinda hilarious for me.

The heats pitch was probably about professionalism and everything about the actual organization he is going to be playing with - while the fan perception is that we will be discussing the partying and sightseeing of Miami.

The Celtics pitch is all about the surrounding areas of Boston and other teams and pedigree - while people say that it will be quieter, about the organization, and more "professional" for the quiet girl from Indiana in Robyn.

Why do we have Boston trash here? People that celebrate Bill Russell and Larry Bird but 99% of them grew up seeing Antoine Walker, Dana Barros and Paul Pierce. A Big 3 that only won ONE title and that then got dismantled by OUR Big 3 and that then got dismantled some more after we STOLE one of their Big 3 DISCOUNTED!

Bunch of snobby arrogant bitches who would like up to suck Brady's sweaty underwear.

GO STICK YOUR FACES ON SOME CLAM CHOWDA AND BURN!

I'm really going to miss Dion man, is it bad that I want him more than Hayward?

Is aquiring Ibaka a possiblity? Like a sign and trade involing Mcroberts, Elington, and TJ?

Dragic/Jrich
Mcgruder/Winslow
Hayward/JJ
Ibaka/JJ
Hassan/Bam

We would still have our two player exceptions, and our annual minimum project signings.

Fenway is like Wrigley.
Old as hell.
Ugly as hell.
Smells like a retirement home.
Time to tear it down.

Hopefully Big Papi shows Robyn Big Papi Jr. And Gordon gets dick jealous and says hell no
