If Heat are interested in Brunson (like I said I have no knowledge of his game), getting Finney-Smith would look solid if Brunson is good.

Nah, dude is a headcase. A great player but not sure if Miami would have made the trade. I think they were eyeing Durant though if Irving moved on to another team.

Lowry and Robinson for Brunson and Powell? Powell would be an ok backup big for the Heat and Duncan would benefit from playing next to Luka and Dallas has shown a willingness to pay one dimensional shooters (bertans). Brunson gets paid in the range of what New York is talking without having to go and lead that team.

Lol at leverage. The Knicks and Mavs are willing to give Brunson all the money. Not many teams with cap space. Why would he pick a team without capspace to use as leverage? The Heat can't outright sign him. He knows it would take a trade. He either has serious interest or he's trying to avoid tampering charges.

Can’t, Brunson can’t be traded with anyone in a sign and trade unfortunately
