Rubio thinking bout how he hasn't made that many threes in his career.

LOL

Rubio quietly shooting career high 38% from 3 on 3.5 attempts per game. Give him some credit he's become not so poor-man's Jason Kidd and looks to be hanging around the league for a long time. He's only just turned 29 still.

Dang. Good to know Iggie. So, he's like a better shooting version of Winslow now?

Surprisingly, his PER is pretty low as usual at 19. For once I figured that his PER would be higher.

He's anti-PER player while Whiteside is very PER-centric player. I guess it must heavily favor rebounding (and block/steals?)

It's actually pretty simple. Here's a link:

Basically yes. Nice pick up by the Suns for 17 per mil x 3 years. I'd take Winslow for 13 mil x 3 years for defensive versatility and youth.

Thanks for the info DoM. I've always wondered but never cared to look it up.

I figured that good shooting efficiency would finally help Booker out but not so much. 19 isn't too bad though.

It's a flawed measurement just like anything else, but based on the top ranking it's not a horrible measuring stick imo.

I never look at PER anymore. Don't find it too valuable.

It surely does not tell you the whole story other than who looks fancy in the boxscore.

It definitely doesn't feel very useful as pretty much all traditional bigs are having high PER while they are becoming more and more useless in today's NBA.

If you need all in one advanced box-score stat, then use RAPTOR. At least it incorporates on/off numbers and what ever tracking NBA has.

Still very scewed towards box scores tho

Tracking the public all in ones for 5 seasons and how well they predict team wins before the seasons due to the apbr competition.

SPR>PTPM>RPM>PIPM>BPM>>>no one uses PER anymore because it doesn't describe or predict well at all. BPM 2.0 is here soon btw.

RAPTOR right now is behind them all this first season but only a 20 game sample of course.

ws is a great descriptive stat still but not much for what is driving future wins aka predicting
