You honestly think the Mavs would even consider a trade without him? This is the Mavs we are talking about. There is no love or mutual respect between these two organizations.

Then the mavs get nothing and he goes to the Knicks lol

They would be ok with that lol. We would have to make it worth their interest to make a trade. I doubt anything happens, too much bad blood between both organizations.

Lowry and Tyler Herro for Jalen Brunson? Come on man, Herro is a much better asset than that..

Lowry to Mavs to replace Brunson? Then Dallas signs Mario Chalmers?

A team acquiring a player via sign & trade can not bring back any other players in the deal.

The Heat can't outright sign him. He knows it would take a trade. He either has serious interest or he's trying to avoid tampering charges.

The mavs either get Lowry and a pick or he goes to the Knicks and they get nothing

Idk if we should target Jalen leBronson. He may get in the way of Gabe Vincent's development.

And we are fine with that too, Mavs are the only ones losing in this situation so

Wouldn't surprise me if the Heat are trying to acquire Bronson and keep Lowry at the same time. Spo likes them extra small.

Jalen would fit in nicely at the sf position within our system

I’m sorry but this is depressing seeing every team get better while we are about to lose Dipo and pj and are limited due to this hard cap and not wanting to use the 10 mil mle

Can’t, Brunson can’t be traded with anyone in a sign and trade unfortunately

Gotcha so it would have to be Brunson for Lowry with some pick incentive. Good catch, but maybe that allows the flip of Robinson for a S&T for Bamba in addition to the move. Then splitting the 10 mil MLE between Caleb and another vet pickup. Then hopefully Dipo could be retained for under 10 mil per year.

We need Lowry’s contract to pay him his 25 mil. Doubt it happens. Meeting seems like a courtesy.

The best thing for Jalens career would be to come to Miami. He would be an all star next season and compete for a championship

We would also be facing the hard cap by acquiring Brunson.

This would be a good off-season
