Good character guy and never whined with his up-and-down playing minutes in the last 2 years. Gonna be a good player for less-pressure teams.

He will do well in that backcourt with Halliburton for sure.

Feels like Strus was always going to be a cap casualty with Duncan and Herro on the books. His performance in the Finals sealed it tho.

Strus likely continues the linage of successful Heat players who go onto other teams and fail to hold their production.

What teams will have significant cap space?
Eight teams are currently in position to create more salary cap space this summer than the $12.4 million mid-level exception for non-taxpaying teams (if they so choose), according to Spotrac's projections:

Houston Rockets ($60.9 million)
San Antonio Spurs ($38.6 million)
Sacramento Kings ($35.6 million)
Indiana Pacers ($32.2 million)-SG/SF Max Strus 3 year 48 mil 16 per
Detroit Pistons ($30 million)
Utah Jazz ($28.4 million)
Orlando Magic ($23.9 million)
Oklahoma City Thunder ($16.6 million)

Which is great news for us. Eventually other teams will learn to leave our players alone and not overpay them, because they're only good in our system

Out of the teams with cap space I don't see any of them going aggressively for Gabe Vincent. I think he'll have his choice of 12.4 non tax payer MLE offers though. Will he take a few million less to stay with us? Maybe or maybe not. Passing up 2.4 million a year is tough for a guy who's been making minimum. Possibly the Heat can sell the state tax differential at 10 I don't know maybe.

Strus did his thing, did what was asked. If he goes, it's with a job well done.

Looking at the cap list I think no matter what Jeremi Grant is signing with the Blazers whether Lillard stays or not cause that's were his money is at. If Lillard wants to tag team with Draymond then you can clearly see the Spurs can make that happen with there cap space to sign Draymond and the expiring contracts they have to match Lillard's salary. Grant's only other option would be a return to the Pistons which seems unlikely. Another option for Grant is a S&T if the Blazers are ready to tear everything down.

If Lillard bounces, why would the Blazers still be interested in giving Grant the bag?

Keep the asset for trade or like I mentioned get him to his destination via S&T most likely

I hear Paul Milsap is eating dinner with Pat Riley at Prime 112 tonight, Pat had the place closed down just for them to recruit him here on a min salary and restricted minutes .

I'm guessing they'd figure they could flip him for more assets at some point.

hopefully our possible outgoing players like Vincent and Strus allow us to do a sign and trade to either pickup picks or cash or something valuable with who they might leave us for.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

They won’t. Pacers have space and Vincent will sign for the MLE. Nobody giving up assets if they don’t have to
