In a salary capped league with aprons it’s hard to be locking up 50 plus mil in years 37 and 38 year old Jimmy. We have to start really thinking about building the team around Bam and Herro with similarly aged players and better depth. As of today we can’t even fill our last roster spot without going into the 2nd apron. We also need better use of Duncan and Rozier’s close to 44 million between the two.

With that being the case Jimmy and his agent have given them some teams he’d be interested in joining if they’re going to go the route of trading him.

I'm always amazed at the greed of humans.

If I was filthy rich like these guys.... I would only ask for like $5-10mil one time payment. I'd place most of it in low yield bonds to give me a nice chunk of change as passive income every year. Current US Treasury bonds are paying 4% interest. That means, 5 million at 4% interest is $200,000 a year without lifting a finger. Don't even have to work, and I'd be earning a top 0.01% salary every year, just off the interest.

The rest, I'd put into a nice house and setup.

Meanwhile, these basketball guys have made TENS if not HUNDREDS of millions.... even after taxes, that's so much money. And they will destroy relationships and career trajectories over more. Bro, at some point, more money is just decadence. You have enough to do whatever you want to do.

And don't compare a NBA player to average people and their jobs. We don't have generational wealth. So, the difference between $60,000 a year and $120,000 a year is A LOT of money to a normal person.

But Jimmy already makes $48m this year. Even after taxes and feeds, bro.... you can do whatever you want for the rest of your life.

These guys are just stupid.

Just like Wade with his childish crap near the end.

If even MORE money is worth destroying relationships, and it means that much to him, send Jimmy packing, I don't want him here anymore

It's so easy to say this when you don't make that kind of money. Once you start making that kind of money, it's really hard to see it stop. Trust me.

Why on earth would we want to do that? Bam and Herro aren't getting us anywhere. We need to quit making the same mistakes over and over again.

If you feel that way then wouldn't you be in favor of giving him whatever he wants? I mean why destroy a relationship over money?

That's a ridiculous way of looking at this. More is more. If you don't believe me, then just ask the owners. When you convince the billionaires to give up making more, then come back and ask the millionaires to do the same.

But yeah ... I'm not paying Jimmy. Let some other sucker do that.

Suns can’t aggregate players so they would literally have to send 1 of Beal KD or Booker to make it work. They gave 1 tradeable 1st and a few 2nds as well

It started before the presser. The presser was done on purpose. It wasnt a mishap. The extension was an issue way before the presser.

The only option would be Beal a 1st and several 2nds

I prefer to stay away from Phoenix, having Beal and Herro would just be one big cluster fuxk when it’s time to make our run at Fox this summer

Heat are willing to resign Butler at the number they want.

Warriors would seem the most motivated buyer.

Kuminga
Wiggins
Melton
Picks and swaps?

Herro / Rozier
Robinson / Smith
Jaquez / Larsson
Kuminga / Jovic
Adebayo / Ware

You don't even bother to include Wiggins? He's averaging 17 a game on 46% shooting. I love JJJ but he's still coming off the bench after this.

If there has been a decision made, which I have a feeling there has been. Yes, Warriors would be the ideal team. IMO then the Heat can work on making the next two or three moves. If the Heat can get what I think they can get. Me personally would make the move for Ingram (Heat wants) and Cameron Johnson (I want) or Dorian Finney-Smith (3ammy wants).

Small tibit, the Heat was trying to acquire Kheldon Johnson last year. I didnt know why because of having Butler and Jaquez but now it makes sense.
