Man drinking is too dangerous for me. I got two dislocated knee caps. The last time I got f up was at the hard rock and two fat girls had to carry me down the steps because of my knee was swollen and I was drunk

I'm from Canada and as a Hockey player and such I grew up drinking heavy and it's dangerous for me as well. I legit have lost 3 friends to liver failure at 40 or less and I'm 38 and out drank them all and am scared to drink now. And my uncle is in the hospital hoping for a liver transplant right now. We'd hit the ODR (out door rink) with beer and whiskey bottles chilling over the boards in the snow, we'd play snow football wearing cleats but no equipment full tackle everyone hammered it's like a way of life here that the smart ones grow out of but many don't and die young. All the ones who stop basically found a girl that said your done and that's how they moved on. It's crazy you see 60 plus year olds playing beer league hockey slamming back beers in the locker room like it's water.

It even get worse, I didnt make it to my car. I was too drunk and cripple to find my car so I slept in the parking garage on the ground between two cars in front of the man directing traffic in the garage until I sober up.

Dumping Duncan would have given the heat 23 mill in capspace to sign Derozan as a free agent. Ok

I am trying to figure this math out. If the Heat never resign Duncan the Heat would of been a player in free agency to say a 20 plus million dollar player

We’ve gotten screwed a few times over paying guys we developped. Do you guys think Duncan would of walked if we offered 15 mil a year or less?

NBA salary cap 140,588,000

Butler, Adebayo, Rozier, and Herro combine 137,571,143.

How was Derozan gonna be signed if the Heat never resigned Duncan?

DeMar DeRozan Was Never Taking Less Money To Join Miami Heat
“For sure, definitely take it as disrespect,” DeRozan said of the rumors. “Definitely take it as disrespect. But you see all the crazy stuff going on. You can’t just jump out there and be like, ‘Nah, I’m not doing that. I’m not doing that.’ You just gotta kinda trust the process and the business and everything you was going through,

Miami thought they should have gotten assets at first, later it seems they got past that and the sticking point was CP3s player option which ate up the cap space that Miami's FO thought they were going to use on Giannis.

This is all I can find back in 2019 at this point, some tweets have been removed since then. What's funny is that he played so well (which he did in Houston when not playing with Harden) he declined his player option that Miami wanted him to decline to sign another big contract.

Paul contract was massive but it would have been worth it. Can you find what the possible trade would have been player wise?

I do remember it had to be Dragic since it would be the swapping of higher priced PGs and I believe the rest would have been Olynyk , Leonard (who was recently traded for), J.Johnson or even Waiters and then another smaller contract, Miami wasn't looking to move Winslow at that point, I guess at that point Miami could have haggled to get someone low priced if Miami sent decent players with Dragic. Of course this would have changed what Miami would have traded for during the season.

Duncan was signed like 3 years ago and they tried to get DeRozan in a S&T using Duncan’s bum ass contract that nobody wanted this past offseason. You're just pressing this one instance to prove some type of point that Duncan’s contract is meaningless when it’s one of the worst contract’s we’ve had on the cap.

I could care less whether we got him or not. The point is when your using Duncan’s contract to try and get anything it’s most likely going to end up in getting nothing or preventing you from getting something even as small as Tyus Jones cause your burning 20 million on him and we are 14 million into the tax apron. We can barely sign one more free agent without going into the 2nd apron.

Again the Heat did not have option to sign someone else for Duncan salary because they have been over the cap team without Duncan salary. It doesnt matter what some other team have. They could only use Duncan cap space to resign their own players.
