Being in Chalm Zone time (soon to be referred to as New HFL Zone Time) is messing with my Heat bearings. I’m so out of touch with Heat updates. Are we now for CP3? Against him? I don’t even know anymore. Geography is no joke.

The majorities still against him, but it's Chalms time and I'm tweakin'.

If the end goal is contending, stars like Beal and WB are cute and cheeky, but you need top 5, tier 1, tier 2 talent to even contend in this era and Butler/Beal's not gonna cut it.

CP3 alone won't do it either, but if were talking seismic trades where we're giving out young players like candy then I'd rather spend my bust on CP3/BG tier talent 'stead of Wall/Beal. Thinking bigger just to think bigger, nothing likely happens and we're left on a string until the next deadline

Yeah seems like we may have gotten Paul for Olynyk, Dragic and Waiters Paul might be coming with a pick.

If it's OKC's 2022 1st I'll be happy if not then I'll be disappointed that we lost our best expiring assets and best longer contracted player for Paul and 1 of our own picks.

Ive learned not to trust these types of sources.

However, would it surprise me? No. Riley is desperate for a name. Patience is not something this front office has.

To this point Riley hasn't been able to convince these other teams (Dallas, Cleveland, etc.) to play ball. Lets see if the Heat can finally bring it all together.

Paul to the Heat makes a lot of sense minus that last year of his contract.

I normally wouldn't either but it started from I guy I normally do trust saying that a deal was done. So I'd being cautiously optimistic with this one or not optimistic depending on how you feel about a Paul trade

If this is Paul/Love coming to Miami I will be disappointed. Especially if we are sending an extra OKC pick to Cleveland for him.

Well that last year is of the upmost importance.

44 million to Paul and wasting the year the following guys can be FA's

LeBron James
Kawhi Leonard
Paul George
Blake Griffin
Bradley Beal
CJ McCollum
Rudy Gobert
Victor Oladipo

This class is 2010 good. We were patient then. If we blow this on an over the hill, declining and overpaid Paul, cannot be anything but disappointed.
