Caleb had a great playoff, but he's not indispensable. If 2 FRP can be recommended for DFS, the value of caleb should be at least this much. Take the opportunity.

No, Spurs don't really need to be involved in the deal with us. I have a feeling that they were possibly going to be a part of it and possibly taking Duncan but went with Bullock instead.

At this point they can only absorb another 12M which makes Duncan too rich for their taste buds. Outside of SA taking on a small salary from a third team to send out assets we could but guarantee SA is out in this deal.

I don't think Simmons is going to end up in the deal. You just bring in the Detroit deal for Joe Harris and then all it would cost BKN is 7mil in salary to bring back Herro. So if they send O'Neale to POR then they get Herro + save 2.5mil. If that's all it costs them then adding a good value pick or 2 average ones shouldn't be too much of a stretch.

We may need to compensate them with a couple 2nd rounders because that's what it cost them to get the cap space for Harris' contract from Detroit.

With these things there are a lot of moving parts, there are certain shoes that needed to drop for steps or measures to be taken. Expect considerable news today as a lot of the small trades will start to be finalized and become official. They essentially get taken out of play to be used in a combination or addition to another trade. Then you can sit back and look at the ones that aren't that will raise your eyebrows as to why wouldn't they be finalized today, which means they are being looked at extended for a reason. so today will give us a glimpse into somewhat is going on behind the scenes.
