He’d be a duplication of Jaquez

Yeah, forget that. Thatd handicap that org. The way the cap and salaries work now, you better have a true alpha or youre gonna get bent over with a stupid contract.

They were on a good trajectory this year, I didn't like the Siakam trade for them. I think that's one that they'll want back in the future. But I could be wrong

We will receive at least 1 of OKCs 21 1sts and also unlock protections on our pick.

We will then send assets for Mitchell or Trae.

Mitchell/Trae
Dorture Chamber
Jimmy
Jovic
Bam

Pat Riley does it again, he shows the world why he is THE GODFATHER

If that's the case why won't OKC just deal directly with ATL or Cleveland?

Think about their current situations and why it may not be a good idea to bring in another ball dominant guard

Another franchise who’s front office has them in better position going forward asset wise than the Heat :o

They need to bring PG home

They have the ammo to go after Mitchell, KD or virtually anyone who comes on the market which would bump Siakim down to their 3rd option

What a luxury it is to have a big that can stretch the floor like Turner. We really need a true stretch big to team with Bam.

Tanking works if you bring in the right young players.

I think it’s more like Pacers made the right under the radar moves. Getting Siakim to partner with Turner and trading Sabonis for Haliburton. We keep getting cat fished by front offices that don’t want to deal with us. You really think the Hawks and Cavs have us at the top of the list of teams they want to deal with?

We need to trade Herro for some pieces that fit the team better and stop thinking he’s going to be the cornerstone piece that brings in a star.

In today’s game I think you can afford to have 3-4 wings of that 6’6-6’8 variety even if the skills overlap

Pacers tanked?

Yep, when they decided to trade Paul George. That set their current success in motion by getting Sabonis in that deal, who they later moved for Halliburton. For better or worse, Heat never wouldve traded Paul George.

I wouldn’t call that tanking, little reset though.

I don’t disagree but JJJ is gonna inevitably get a minutes increase next year.

I wouldn’t want the staff to second guess that by virtue of having someone who plays just like him and is a vet on the roster.

Similar to the re-set Heat need right now with Butler, but will they see the big picture?

Lol before all of the overreactions start about the Pacers, just remember that we have been in the exact same situation as them 3 out of the past 5 seasons. If the pacers do this 2 more times over the next 4 years, they'll be in our boat.

No to need to follow their blueprint. Our very own blueprint has shown to be largely effective.

Yea thats fair. With guys like Martin and maybe Jagsmith being priced out I think we could accommodate both without compromising Jaime’s development, we’ll see how things shake out in FA

Im gonna keep it real. Butler saved our asses. That was the blueprint. A player able to produce like a top 5 player. Thats the model. This org has done well drafting but without Butler we barely made the playoffs and then won one game when Herro played like we all want him to play all the time. Now Butler is aged out and injured. Time to take notes.
