We dont have to convince Hayward. We just have to convince his wife. She was partying with the Heatles on the water just yesterday. #shenotangrywhenshewarm

This plus the fact that Gordon Hayward hates Tom Brady makes me think that he is just visiting Boston out of respect for his college coach.

Who knows? The image they posted was so fleeting that I don't think anyone could say for sure.
In regards to the wants of his family, I doubt that many folks would have their entire family tell them to stay in Miami (as Lebron's apparently did) and they overrule them. I figure the location will play a large part in his decision based on what I've read so far.

They might as well meet with Waiters to see what he's asking for and see where his mind is at while they wait for Hayward's decision. That's what I get from the Heat meeting with Waiters.

Love that JJ wants to show loyalty but he's kinda' tip-toed the line by going to the Hayward meeting, I mean... Riles would probably trade him at the first chance at a better player. Not like his fam is starving or anything... But you got to hold your own cards
Unrestricted FA at a meeting is an A1 prop tho, cudos to Riles if he set that up. I wonder if McBob was there, on a big projecter screen like Zordon from Power Rangers

Folks that act as if we shouldn't meet Waiters because of Hayward...I'd like to do business with you...so naive

A room exception signing and then minimums.

I remember 11-30 with these guys. ^

THIS!!
I feel this has to be the plan, has a Riley move written all over it.
Basically not picking up our options, dumping McBob and trading TJ should get us there right?
Not even close. And TJ not getting traded. Doubt anybody at that meeting yesterday gets dealt.
I think you are overestimating TJ but Winslow, McRoberts and Ellington were not in that meeting. If involved in a sign and trade, in conjunction with a min contract, they could free up an additional $12M.

So talented. Can dribble and drive. His passing and distance shooting is inconsistent, but he hit a clutch shot in Sacramento that is historic. Tyreke's problem is that his body has really been roughly treated. For a minimum or part of the room exception sure, but nothing more.

I remember 11-30 with these guys. ^
