Good little discussion here with Gil and Jimmy's Trainer...

Listening to people's reactions reminds me how unique my relationship with my circle is. Is very similar to how this current cast of Heat players. My circle are former "has beens" athletes in a variety of sports. We talk trash to each other daily in person and even through text. It can be a simple round table discussion about a movie, BBQ, sports, or l hell even video games. I had a coworker join in our our fantasy football league and I notice he was quiet at all the post we had on Facebook. He told me "man yall hate each other. how are you all are friends? i don't want no beef so I stay quiet." I laughed because I forgot how we may look as friends the way we talk trash to each other and people may not be aware how we poke at each other for fun. A lot of it is to motivate each other to win. We motivate each by challenging each other.

Same, my friends and I are constantly going at each other, especially when it comes to something competitive. We’ve all been best friends since super early in our lives so it’s more like brothers

Seeing how they the team responded again the Knicks, especially that 4th quarter blow out

We lost 5 in a row 11 years ago in mid March, and went to the NBA finals that year. Spo mentioned a couple of folks were crying in the locker room at that time.

I have lost all hope for this team. We peaked too early and now we’re just lost. We’re starting 2 guys who give basically nothing offensively and one of them is a terrible defender and then we have 3 other guys starting next to them making $30M+ per year that don’t have a score first mentality because we’re just spamming DHOs to **** Duncan all game long. Just unreal to me. This team has lost its direction and in return has given away the 1st seed. We can’t win close games to save our lives, we don’t give our most efficienct scorer in the clutch the ball (Bam) and he won’t demand it. Our bench right now has been abysmal lately, they rely heavily on Herro who is also one of the worst defenders in the league. It’s just give or **** take with every single player on this team.

That’s why I don’t believe in this team right now. Hell maybe our best bet to actually do something in the playoffs is getting the 3-4 seed because otherwise Kyrie and KD are going to embarrass us. Either way I’m checking out emotionally, **** is too annoying to watch. Like up 17 in the 4th to a terrible team on your home court and you lose by 8?!?! You literally have to try to do some **** like that.

If this team doesn’t make a major lineup/scheme change and Spo doesn’t tell Jimmy and Bam any time they touch the ball the first place they better look is the rim then we’re cooked. We have no chance.

Pj needs rest, playing this style works very good when PJ is good but he’s not doing **** lately.

Spo: your scheme and lineups are not working right now. You’re making no in game adjustments. We’ve watched 3 straight games in the 4th where one player is being picked on defensively (Herro, Duncan, Strus) and you’re not changing anything to counter.

Jimmy: you did your thing tonight but you’ve been coasting way too much lately. I want 30 PPG dominant Jimmy the rest of the way.

Bam: you’re way to **** passive. I know it’s related to scheme alot as Spo just plants you 20+ feet from the basket to screen for that bum podcaster 90% of the game but it’s gotta come to a time where you say **** it and just destroy whoever is in front of you. Hell you’re our only 40 point game in the regular season since **** Wade in 2015. You’re a constant mismatch for whoever is guarding you. You were 6-6 to start the night and you end 6-7, how the ****? Spo needs to be better but you also have to say **** it I’m taking over. That’s what this team needs.

Lowry: you’ve been ass majority of the year tbh but you’re slightly picking it up. I personally would’ve rather had Lonzo over you and spent the rest of the money on Derozan but whatever.

Herro: you’re a bucket, post ASB from you has been amazing. That said, when you’re not scoring you’re a major liability being one of the worst defenders in the world. Who knows maybe we need to start you and that could change some things but your efficiency as a starter is terrible and we’ve taken the 1 seed (not for long) with you as the 6 man.

PJ: take a week or 2 off, best shooter in the league for 80% of the year and now you’re shooting worse than Wade.

Duncan: you’ll be gone by next season, your replacement has been groomed.

The bench: I mean for the most part we can’t really ask for more. You’re a bunch of journey man who have exceeded expectations by a mile. You’ve sucked lately but you’ve been very good this year.

Dipo: the jury is still out but I’m starting to think you just need more time and an offseason and rigorous work before you’re what we need you to be.

Yes rebounding is terrible, Spo has to change something. If you want Bam defending on the perimeter on switches you need a big to rebound. That’s too much pressure on Jimmy and PJ to grab rebounds over the other teams center. Otherwise stop switching and just play your man straight up or go more to zone.

I like Bam but there isn't a world where he's our most efficient scorer in the clutch. Sure his numbers look nice but in terms of pure shot creation ability he's behind Butler and Herro and you can make a case for Kyle. Bam isn't just a guy who can give the ball to and he's either going to generate a decent shot over anyone or make a play for somebody else. Bigs are just not clutch guys. Jokic and Embiid can be because they are so dominant in the post and Jokic is a top 3 play maker. But Bam isn't a dominant offensive player let alone a dominant post player. You can give him the ball in the right matchups. But he just don't have the tools to be your close game in and game out. And its not a knock on him. You gotta be a special big to be a closer. Even as great as Shaq was he needed Kobe and Wade to close games
