It would be a major win for this new Wizards FO to get out of the Beal contract. Only taking back Lowry/Oladipo means in one year they'll have done just that. Any draft compensation should seal the deal.

Put money on it...
I agree. I would think maybe we'd try and push for a Myles Turner or end up with a John Collins. Maybe we can keep Jovic out of it.
Pg: Vincent
Sg: Beal / Robinson
Sf: Butler / Martin
Pf: Bam / Highsmith
Cc: Turner / Jovic
Find a decent point guard to backup Gabe and we're good to go.
So if we’re clearing Lowry Dipo Duncan Herro off the books pretty sure we could get both turner and buddy’s $19M expiring. That would be huge

It's also about the picks, though. Otherwise, they could just go with CP3

These media offers flying out seem a bit flukish. Maybe I'm off with the cap dynamics but Lowry, Oladipo, Robinson, and Jovic for Beal and Gafford is the only thing I can come up with that's even salary but also leaves us with very little wiggle room to do anything after that. Having a real hard time finding a path here. Another variation is Lowry, Oladipo, and Martin or possibly Jovic and they come about 1 mil over or under the number but once again don't see a path without going heavy into the 2nd apron. Don't make any sense tbg

How are you feeling? excited, nervous, surreal or you dont by none of this??
I’m hype lol I’ve been begging Pat for years to get some legit talent around Jimmy and Bam and now it looks like he’s finally going to

Ya, Jovic or #18 this year should seal the deal. What contracts match for Phoenix? CP3 + Ayton?

I don't think we have enough assets to get both from Indiana. We're going to be able to trade one more first, and that's about what it would cost to offload Robinson. I don't think Herro has enough value to get Turner and offset the value between Robinson/future first and Hield...

Hey man be happy. Micky is willing to take in more salary and pay the tax

If Herro is kept out of the deal, then Herro is going to be used to solidify the bench, hopefully the power rotation with some size.
Phoenix makes zero sense for Beal. Going to be the third option there. Washington has to be just driving up the price.

Getting Lowry/Oladipo would give them an asset to take on a/some bad contracts for draft compensation much like OKC has been doing with CP3, Hartford, Kemba and most recently what Utah did with LAL.

You have a lot of room, you have Tyler Herro and whom ever is not in the deal, could be Martin or Jovic etc..

Zero? They could get CP3 in the trade, waive him and instantly save 15 million.

You might be right, that’s IF it costs us 2 1sts for Beal though. Maybe Jovic could be the extra sweetener needed

Oh trust me I'm going to be be thrilled but won't believe it till I see it. Still very skeptical about these reports. Right now the only thing that has remotely made any sense is Bobby Marks variation. I wish I could get on board with these other scenarios

Good point, makes you wonder what the Wizards plan with Porzingis is.

I said zero sense for Beal, not Washington.

We are pressed up against the second apron and about 8 players needed to fill out the roster especially now with trading 3-4 players for Beal in these rumored non Herro deals.
