Everyone knows Kyrie is a good basketball player. Nobody knows if he can be trusted to not go AWOL at a moment's notice. That is why he did not have a market.

1 month ago everyone said bam sucks and Jimmy is overrated, but if we get dame we’re a super team now

Exactly this is the punchers chance that Lillard wanted. Were not a superteam by any stretch of the imagination, were more like the hardest working team, with really smart coaching, and some really good two way players in Jimmy and Bam. That's what we are!!! Even with Damian Lillard were not guaranteed a championship just a better chance in the big stage to be able to finish the dance.

When dame comes he’s the clear cut first option, Jimmy will probably go into his passive playmaking role and bam will do bam things.

There’s just not many teams who have both movable salary to absorb a massive super max deal like this, have the need for a 33 year old star point guard, and have the willingness to send over massive draft capital on top of it. That’s why all the “Miami won’t be the best deal” is very amusing to me. Then throw the 2nd apron problem that a lot of teams are not gonna want to deal with on the backend of this deal?

The Miami Heat are going to be the most motivated team to make the deal.

The Sixers and the Clippers draft pick situation are both worse than ours. And Boston isn’t trading Brown.

Good luck Joe Cronin.

Our depth looks good except at the PG position...once we get our wishing well gifted to us, we need to invest in a backup. we have plenty of wings.

Furthermore Dame’s only played 87 games out of a possible 164 the past 2 seasons. Not like he’s a beacon of health

Agreed. Woj is just a mouthpiece for Portland's organization.

Sure, he's good.

But what do we do when he decides to buy a ship to reach the edge of the earth and miss half the season?

Even worse, what if he falls off the cliff at the edge of the earth into the unknown depths?

Any team that isnt ours, that wants to pursue Liliard will have contact with Liliard before pulling the trigger. And theyll probably have their own players contact him as well to try to recruit them. Liliard could eliminate them just by saying i want to go to miami. Just like the reports of sixers not willing to offer up because they know liliard wants Miami

Bobby Marks said he believes that this will drag pass summer league. We need to be patient and keep faith. Hope for the best.

right, but how long until he opens up 1 or 2 more teams.

do we want to put Lillard in that position? of having to keep fighting?

hopefully we are doing everything possible to get this resolved now. because Dame -will- cave eventually and add another team or two.

I won't get worried about any of this unless Haynes (Dame's mouthpiece) or Amick (Dame's agent mouthpiece) say that Lillard is open to going to other teams.

Everything leading up to yesterday makes so much more sense once the news broke that he requested out and only wanted Miami. The PHX radio reporter mentioned during the Beal pursuit that he was hearing the HEAT weren't really interested in Beal as many believed. We now understand why as Jimmy and Bam were back channeling with Lillard and relaying info to the HEAT brass.

The Heat will get a compelling offer put together (probably already have). At this time, I believe it's more a matter of when, not if.

Right! Some guy on the general board i think a Raps fan tried to tell me this was a soft move by Dame on the level of Durant joining 73 win warriors or Harden going to Brooklyn with Irving and Durant hahaha

Return to Miami Heat
