The spurs arent trading Castle or wemby for Fox or anyone, the same way we arent trading bam or herro or ware. That's not good team building and defeats the purpose of the trade.

I can see Vassell or Keldon Johnson (a solid young player on decent contract), along with a familiar face, Harrison barnes or even CP3 to soak up some of those Fox minutes.

And then a bunch of picks ofc. Fox wants out. And has preferred teams named. Houston doesn't wanna mess stuff up. Heat won't trade those core guys and have little trade assets. Kings gotta take 80 cents on the dollar before if becomes 50 cents on the dollar next year on his last year and he doesn't extend and things get ugly like it did with us and Jimmy.

Trae just rubs the people the wrong way. Maybe it's his attitude, the funny hair etc. He did have an impressive 11 assist per game but since his team did worse no way he gets in. Cade is a feel good story. Herro is basically single handedly keeping us out of the lottery right now. So glad he made it as an All Star.

Isn’t Trae a FA in 2026? If we miss out on Fox I wonder if we could loop Trae and Bogdonavic (who were reportedly interested in) into a Jimmy trade. With Jalen Johnson out for the year it’s basically over for the Hawks playoff hopes and they also seem to be trying to dump Capela so their goal isn’t winning.

Now that you all have a big that you like on the roster in Ware you’re beginning to see just how important having a great playmaker is for our bigs and how we’ve needed one for Bam all these years too. It would also go a long way for Tyler. Trae 2 man actions with Bam and Ware with shooters on the wing would be insane offense.
