If Spurs can, they kinda have to. Don't know if that group would contend soon, but sorta scary on paper (Better on-paper teams have flopped though)

Think Spurs are talking a lot of chit right now about keeping this pick. Castle, Harper, and Fox are not that great of a fit and then you got Vassell making a lot of money in there. Ace Bailey actually makes more sense to them.

It’s time.

Just yesterday it was no state tax now it’s Raptors and BK with two of the highest tax brackets? You’re going to hear a lot of non sense in the next few months. Just stick to the common sense teams with the most assets.

Well, still fun to think about and consider what package they can offer. Nets make some sense cuz they have amazing picks to trade. And they can offer the bucks cap space to sign whoever they want since nets only team with 45M cap space. Toronto can send Ingram and 4 frps and some swaps.

Good article by ESPN. Obviously we are one of the last lmao.

Bucks will be looking for a balance of win now talent and good quality draft assets starting with a lottery pick this year. Dallas, Spurs, Raps, BK, Pels and Rockets

Hes not coming here unless Bam or Herro are made available, and theyll target Bam more for obvious reasons..and Heat fans are saying theyre both untradeable even for prime Dwyane Wade.

So the Giannis conversation is silly and a waste of time.

If it were up to me im offering every first available, Herro, JJJ, Jovic and even Ware for Giannis.

I'd trade them both but if we only have to give Bam out of the two, I'd be ecstatic! There is a lot of overlap in Giannis/Bam so it makes sense for both teams if a trade were to be made. I'm sure they'd want Herro as well. It's a good home town connection. One can dream but I don't think it happens.

I still believe there will be teams with much stronger offers rhan us and we wont stand a chance when talking to Milwaukee but say he wants them to work with us and they grant him that wish.. I am 100000% trading Herro for sure .. Milwaukee can be responsible for Herro’s extension in October, not us..

Herro
Three firsts
Ware
JJJ
Try and throw in Kyle Andersons contract in it for salary match purposes to relieve us of that 26-27 10 milli number from kyle.

if they say no they can have any combo of highsmith, burks, jovic, wiggins, rozier expiring or whatever they want to make the salaries work.

Farfetched but if they call, get it done. Giannis is the kind of superstar we always go after. He fits perfectly with the Heat.

Will there be a resistance from teams trading for a Max player over 30? Watching teams like Clippers, Suns, 76ers, Bucks and Mavs being massive failures on bad financial situations, being an influence on teams.

They should trade Fox. He was a mistake anyway.

We got a 20th pick and a Mexican super star we can give them for their mistake. I will even consider throwing in Scary Terry.

If Mil insisted that Dame would need to be unloaded in a Giannis deal, I wonder if Mia would either consider taking him or if they’d be capable of incentivizing another team to absorb his contract

In this apron era taking on that much in dead money to sit is cap suicide. Heat have had to suffer at the hands of dead cap money for years harboring Rozier and Duncan’s contracts which have been cap crippling and now leaving us scrambling to be under the tax line this year to avoid the repeater.

I think in Durant’s case you will definitely see it. Giannis on the other hand will have plenty of suitors. We are in the driver’s seat for Durant especially after Riley’s comment. We will be the most aggressive in wrapping that deal up. We had the framework in place at the deadline

If in doing so Mia were able to keep their draft capital and maybe even Ware, wonder if it would be worth the cap blow.

Could still make more significant maneuvers in that scenario.

Yep. Too much risk for little payout. Best case is Lebron and he's been hurt pretty much every season and with no finals appearance for past couple seasons. Only dumb desperate teams would make that bet and Miami might be one. Really hope Houston changes their mind on KD and saves this FO form itself

If it was KD coming off the ankle injury at 32 any team would do it.. but 37 its franchise suicide.

Giannis will still be a top 5 player for the next 3-5 years.

Im doing the trade im proposing.. im moving on from Herro who has been overrated since the day he got here.. has missed a ton of games, a ton of playoff games. And when hes been available at the playoffs hes been more no show than not. You cash out on him on his solo “big” season by trading him for a real superstar. We couldnt even get Portland or any third team to bite on Herro to net us Dame.. we didnt even know if Herro could get us a protected first round pick prior to this season.

Cash out now before we regret it.
