The defense OKc is using is the one we use but I swear they seem more athletic while doing it

OKC will forever stay in games because of the FT line

 No they're not, df? Stop with this nonsense. Brooks has been a proven idiot for years now. Spo on the other hand actually gets respect from other coaches around this league
While Spo has a better track record, he pulls idiot moves every once in a while that is Scott Brooks like

That plus their two best players don't need spacing to score so they can have offense and defense in at once when they play big.

The way Durant & Westbrook plays makes me jealous sometimes. The only time I could remember both LeBron & Wade being very aggressive together consistently was back in that 2012 series against the Pacers in the Semi-Finals

Spurs raped the paint in the first half without Ibaka in there and now OKC is packing the paint and hedging/trapping like we do which has brought them back into the game. Remains to be seen if they can keep up this level of effort defensively

They're a much more athletic team than we are.

Always shake my head when commentators try to describe our team as athletic when we're clearly not anymore.

Then that can be said about just any coach in the NBA.... your hatred for Spoelstra is misguided as he is a Top coach in the NBA.

I'm sitting here watching Splitter and Baynes and wondering how it is that we can never develop players like the Spurs can...Riley is great but him and this staff have a clear weak spot with finding and developing players. This may have worked ignoring this under the old CBA but this **** doesn't fly anymore. How can we have had 2 years knowing that the Pacers were a threat and not developed some big man?

While I do my fair bit of Spo bashing, I've given him a lot of credit over the years especially when it comes to his defensive system that most fans bash

Meh a lot of people don't really consider us an "athletic" team anymore. Bill Simmons & JVG were saying how we're not athletic anymore all throughout Game 1 yesterday

It's mostly the 'clueless' commentators like Hubie or whoever who rely on past stereotypes.

Or that we are a fast-paced team when we play at one of the slowest paces in the league.

This Spurs team...
