The always on internet was a horrible move, not every country is Canada/U.S where internet is stable. I could only imagine the outrage people in third world countries would feel if their net died and their offline game cut off.

They got cocky. The PS2 was the best selling consol of all time and when it came to the PS3 Sony thought that people would pay more for a more powerful product. What they didn't account for was the difficulty to find developers willing to take advantage of that extra power and the late release plus $600 start price that drove people away.

When the next gen came out Sony learned from their mistakes, they undercut Microsoft's price and released a more powerful yet easy to develop for consol before Microsoft could release theirs. Meanwhile Microsoft brought out next gen COD at their reveal and talked about exclusive map releases as if their fans who jumped ship from Sony in the first place would stay loyal.

Now they're dealing with what Sony dealt with last gen. Instead of developing games and optimizing them for both, most developers simply develop for the PS4 and then release a slightly downscaled version on the XB1.

Actually, PS3's architecture was why games always looked or ran like crap unless it was made by a studio close to Sony's hardware/software division (like uncharted). It was extremely difficult to develop games for ps3. Current high end PCs can't even emulate that crazy ass architecture and it's why there's no ps3 emulation available on ps4 (backwards compatibility).

Now it's easy as hell and the hardware is better than xbone's. As they will come to learn, high end gaming is a niche. Sony and Microsoft can release two consoles, one cheap and one expensive as long as there's an actual difference in performance, and they will make bank. The idea is to remember that it's just a video game system at the end of the day and it will be a competitive race once again.

Grand Turismo Sport is looking like a massive fail. Creators are too focused on FIA licensing and esports crap that they've forgotten what made them great back on ps1 and ps2. I miss grinding so damn much for those credits to finally afford the cars I wanted to drive. And the amount of information. That series is why I'm a car enthusiast today. All they had to do was build on that same formula while adding new dimensions to the game. And they did. For a while, in fact. Then they **** it up with GT6 Prologue and gt6. Now Gt sport looks like some watered down expansion pack. :/

The only racing game out right now for ps4 that's worth getting is Dirt.

They also forced you to pay for Kinect too. Really bad decisions there.

Anyway, yeah, Jamie is screwed, but this may just be a distraction to get him away from Cersei so that bad things can happen to her. She is awful certain about success in that trial by combat. Isn't she?

You are probably right with your distraction views. It would be interesting to see the dynamics with Jamie and Brienne when they see each other again. It wouldn't surprise me if Littlefinger attempts to redeem himself with Sansa by forcing the Arryn's to go after the Frey's to avenge the "Red Wedding" and maybe free Edmure who was an uncle to the Starks. Also, Yara Greyjoy might be one of my favorite characters. I cheer for her not only because she is a badass but because she does with a good head over her shoulders. Might be even a better leader of men than Daenerys. My hope is that somehow the sister/brother team joins the Three Headed Dragon at some point as opposed to just being a side show. I can see an alliance with Jon Snow and Wildlings to overtake Winterfell from Ramsay and then get back the Iron Islands from their sneaky uncle.

That Iron Islands fleet (of a thousand ships) will transport Daenerys's army. They even used the same number: 1000 ships.

i used to play pure pool but i quit because people were being **** with their loud music on screen or dudes were talking to their girlfriends while playing and that was a distraction as well

Watching the New Orleans Jazz play the New York Knicks from 40 years ago or so. The commentator said that the Jazz had a record of 20-8 at home and 5-25 away. That's quite the discrepancy!

Also, one of the refs was Dick Bavetta.
