Kristaps. Injury history is similar. Love more proven but older, Kristaps higher upside and more athletic.

I think we need to look elsewhere & simmer down entertaining this. We'd only be left w/ another heartbreak.

I messaged some mods of both Cleveland and Dallas to see what kind of return they'd expect. Cleveland would do Sexton for Herro if we take Love. Dallas would take Love for Kristaps to shorten the years on a big money deal, though that's a depressing thought.

Been saying this the whole time. Fans can be annoyed that he got injured again, but he’s the biggest talent that we can definitely add to the tram that got swept. Dude wanted in for a while now - give him a 1+1 and let’s see what he can back

Kristaps and Sexton would be a very interesting offseason haul but i envision us keeping Love for the same reasons of shorter contract. But if the Heat like Kristaps he might be a viable option.

I'm pretty skiddish on bigs, and Kris is starting to seem like a better idea than reality (like my poor, sweet Winslow)

For his price tag I might pass. All in on Sexton though; if we could sign Dippo and trade for Sexton, we'd have a good core to gradually take scoring responsibility from Jimmy and put him in a small ball 4 role that he's destined for (assuming Dippo isn't done)

I think Love for 2 years is almost as bad of a bet then Prozingis for 3 years.

Both are very likely to underperform their salary, both have major health issue, both are a great fit next to Bam.

Prozingis is a bigger health risk IMO, he just had an AWEFUL defensive year where he lost a ton of mobility. But in theory, he gives the team a higher ceiling then Love if he doesn't break down.

My girl saw a "allUcanHeat" fan poll and thought it was an official announcement, so when I woke up she informed me we just traded Dragic + Iggy + Herro for Sexton + K.Love. The exact trade I've been rooting for the last week.

After jumping in the air in joy and disbelief about my new good fortune, I come here only to see the only development made was Atlanta thread discussion.

3 teams trade :

Heat get : Sexton, Prozingis, J-Rich

Cavs get : Iggy, Herro, Precious

Mavs get : K.Love, Dragic, KZ, second round pick from Heat

Then we sign and trade Robinson for Lauri Markkanen, so we can have some insurance if Porzingis breaks.

It works money wise, legal trades all around.

We then got :

Sexton/
Rich/
Jimmy/
Bam/Lauri Markkanen
Prozingis/Dedmon
