Honestly not bad at all. It's a high reward low risk type move and it's under 7 mil a year. Even if it fails it's under 7 mil and its just 3 years. Good pick up.

Strus S&T was huge. Thank you Strus. getting a second round pick was nice. I with Gabe would have helped us like that too. Gabes contract is undervalued but I guess the Heat were not going to give 10 mil? Makes no sense.

Not sure i like the Oladipo trade but because i wanted to keep vic but because we gave up 2 picks for 2 players we had in the past.

Man Heat FO has been busy busy.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

If Heat couldn’t get protections lifted now then it’s not going to happen. But gotta keep the pipe dream alive

Lillard you better be coming or we gonna be running JRich at PG...

JRich is likely the first G off the bench regardless of which starter is coming out.

I think most of us, Myself included, are partly guilty of underrating Herro.

Go and compare his stats to Desmonds Ban's stats at age 23YO. You'll be suprised.

Tyler need to focus on 2 main things :

1) Improving on defense. That's a must, he's got to get as close to average as a defender to bring really good value on his deal. I don't think that's an unrealistic target. Not good, just average on D.

2) He need to get to the line more. Not a ton more, but a ciuple of time more per game. He's a great shooter, if he ups his FT rate his overall efficiency will really improve.

He's 23.5 YO. Bane is 25 YO.

If herro can improve in a similar way to the way Bane improved this last year - you'd love having him here.

Take a look here :

Point Herro is the stuff of nightmares. Dude is a turnover machine who makes awful dumb passes. I'd rather Jimmy and Bam be our ballhandlers over him.

I don't think the HEAT want to lift protections until they absolutely have to. They've made several deals with OKC so the relationnship is there and I'm sure they know what they need to provide to get the protection lifted but there's really no point to doing it now unless a deal was imminent.

The FO seems to be engaged this offseason. They're doing a good job so far in the situation they're in, just wish they had done this last offseason also. Sometimes the small moves are the ones that are the toughest to make when building a roster.

Guess this means Bamba on the market too then?

Also the Lakers always seem to pick up phucking everyone. Every time they put a team together I'm scratching my head as to how they afford all these guys but they just get them all for pennies. They bring in all these guys then they just end up riding the bench.

It helps when they have a sports agency that works on behalf of the Lakers star instead of the best financial interest of its clients

Very pleased with the front office maneuvering. Can’t complain. I really wanted J Rich early in this process and we got him
