I agree that losing to the Thunder would suck more than losing to the Spurs. Durant winning MVP and beating LeBron in the finals would make for a very difficult summer around here. However, although strange things may happen....I dont see that happening. Especially without Ibaka.

LeBron beating the Spurs twice in the finals does more for his legacy than beating KD imo. Although they are still the easier matchup imo.

I still see the Spurs winning this series but i'm worried about them when the Thunder play big. When Collison was in the game at the start of the 3rd quarter OKC made a huge run & even took the lead. Crazy how many big guys OKC have that could play key roles on title contending teams in Collison & Adams. I wouldn't mind either of them in a Heat uni

I can say the same for OKC too. Tonight, their bench scored 47 points and they hit 12 out of 27 3's. I don't see how they'll play any better offensively, and the Spurs will make adjustments when OKC plays big. Gregg did adjusted by playing Baynes. Durant is showing signs of fatigue and i don't expect Fisher to have another 16 points game with 4 3-pointer made. Spurs got this. As long as they can keep their lead at a safe distance, the refs won't be able to screw them over and they're too disciplined to play as sloppy as Clippers and Grizzlies did against OKC.
Thanks for all the great memories, LeBron! The show must go on! #Heatnation

This series is going 6 games tops without Ibaka. He's so solid he holds that team together in many ways. Without him and facing the well oiled machine that is the Spurs, I just can't see them putting up a huge fight.

OKC can still win, but it has to worry that it played well offensively and got contributions galore from the bench and others (Grandpa Fisher gave them 13) but couldn't do anything to stop dat Spurs offense. GB always underestimates what a great team we beat last year for the title, a team that is a lot better and more versatile and explosive than say the Jazz teams the Bulls beat.

It's nice to see Derek Fisher's throwback night was ruined with a loss 8-)

I hate that mofo I hope he retires after this year and becomes a Knick coach and will suck forever.

If Fisher and Reggie Jackson don't show up in the next game like they did tonight, then the OKCheaters are screwed. If Miami had played the way OKC played tonight offensively, then Miami would've won game 1 against the Pacers. I just don't see how OKC can play any better than the way they played tonight offensively. Their defense will not get any better because Gregg is very precise at making counter adjustments.

They're going to have to hope that the Spurs can't score in the paint. The Spurs are so scary when they have so many shooters on the floor who can hit 3's at any given moment. Why can't Miami find a few role players who are just as efficient at knocking down their open shots as some of those guys on the Spurs roster, then again, Spo wouldn't have the balls to give them playing time.

OKC shot 12-27 from 3 and had 47 bench points. Duncan making layups is easily more repeatable.

Surprised

OKC refs weren't on their side. That had a lot to do with my prediction of OKC in 4 or 5

I guess $ilver needs to make a call

3 of their starters ( Thabo, collison, Perkins ) combined for 5 points

thats a mosnter game for them. Now 48 points of the bench is something that will never repeat in this series for okc i think

an enjoyable game for the most part.

Love the speed up the court to start the play - something we should do more before opponents and especially Pacers set.

Great offense but no defense.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

Yea you gotta love the spurs offensive energy. They run even off makes which is something Pop stressed when they faced us instead of being so robotic on offense like us lol

We all know Perkins, collison won't score. But Reggie, Fisher, Butler always finds ways to contribute. Adams usually does and Perkins had Duncan in clamps.
