His 3-pt shot isn't reliable yet and his defensive versatility/offensive IQ is still in question for me. Not sure if he'll be real effective in other roles but 6'10 Wingspan is a good bet, so I would roll with him but not too high on him

- Love Patton's upside, if he can get to a point where he's shooting a good volume on 3's (Like 3 3FGA's a game) then he would be havoc on the next level. He's just soft, hope I'm not letting that blind me too much but I've already seen him do things I would never want to see another competitor do, not sure if he really cares to play ball that much

- Leaf's the highest IQ player in our range with the best combination of upside and offensive polish but Anunoby/ZCollins also have really high defensive potential, hopefully we have those options for us at the very least

- I feel like moving ups a real possibility if we want it, lot of insecurity in the top 10

- Please, deer god, no Giles.

whoever we pick, i just really hope he has a jumper or at least has potential to develop a nice 3pt shot.

I don't like most of the players that could drop to us. This sucks. Not a fan of guys like John Collins, Justin Patton, T.J. Leaf, Ivan Rabb, Luke Kennard even a little bit.

Hoping Donovan Mitchell falls to us, he's the guy I like the most out of the players that seem possible. Doubt he does, though.

Honestly looking at most of these names at 14....we might be smart to trade the pick.

I simply see no ideal pick.

Luke Kennard - Really like his game, but SG isn't really a need, and he probably won't go past #12.

OG Anunoby SF/PF - reallyl ike his upside, but until he improves his outside shot, he's a bad fit here.

Donovan Mitchell - really not impressed. very limited upside IMO

Semi Ojeleye SF/PF - good fit, nice player, older.

Zach Collins - reminds me of Andrea Bargnani. Enough said.

Justin Jackson - nice player, would ne a lot of more excited about him if he added 30 pounds and played PF.

TJ Leaf - hate to admit it, but despite limited upside and astonishing whiteness, might be best fit from above options. Not very exciting but kinda safe, won't bust but won't be very good either probably. Skillset and character fit. Maybe if he can really become a high volume very good 3 point shooter could become a steal?

There's no "home run" type hit we can make IMO, trade should be on table.

Explain the very "limited" upside please. I would like to hear this.

Very interested in Giles now if Mitchell doesn't make it to 14th.

Kennard would be an instant fan favorite if he knocks down 3s consistently.

Well, he's an undersized SG with an (below?) average outside shot, average feel, despite being athletic doesn't get to the line much, didn't really dominate college despite being almost 21 (15 PPG last year) - he's just the classic "ok" type player that will find it very hard to find a niche on the next level because there's nothing he really excels at.

He's a bit on the slow side, but very crafty and skilled. reminds me of a slower less athletic young Ginobili. But also with a better shot.

If he can get his body right, might be something. Not sure how much he could create for himself against NBA defenses, but he's going to useful either way.

A lot of Draftee's get touted as elite shooters in the draft every year and very few come to the league and become it, would be a little surprised if someone as slow and unathletic as Kennard became just that on the next level. Maybe a good shooter but not consistent enough for elite status

I've been saying this for ages. We should trade the pick to one of the teams that have two picks late in the first round. Jazz or Lakers. No stand out players where we pick, might as well get two prospects instead.
