I can’t see us dealing both. We’d want some continuity at the 1 for sure. I think the FO would feel comfortable with Gabe given we went far in the postseason with him playing a significant role. Tbh, he can do the Mario Chalmers role fine.
It would be a shame to lose Strus, but if we got Joe Harris back in the deal somehow (which is money BKN wants off), that’d work OK. If we lose Herro/Duncan/Max, the roster is verrrry thin on legit floor spacers.
I'm just really not sure it's going to cost us so much to remove our protections with OKC.
I mean we traded KZ Okpala to OKC for a 2nd rounder from OKC and removed protections on our 2023 pick which was originally a 2023-2025 top 16 protected then 2026 unprotected and now its only a 2025 top 16 or 2026 unprotected if not converted.
If that is a pre cursor to what it should cost for us then I don't think it should cost us an arm and a leg to unlock picks.
