Scout Dedmon? Who said anyone was scouting Dedmon? Miami could go with Dedmon early on because he may understand where he's suppose to be on offense and defense while Yurtseven may not. Too many people just look at the player without the understanding that they need to play their role and understand how to read and react correctly inside of an offense or defense. Yurtseven seemed to miss his assignments a number of times last year and while that may work in the regular season, that'll get exploited in the playoffs.

Dedmon more then likely will be used as an expiring contract, this year or next. I highly doubt anyone is really looking to add Dedmon to their roster, let alone giving up some type of asset for him.

The reason I mentioned possibly paying him more to play is because he's still making almost 3 million a year from being stretched in Detroit so he still has nearly 8 million coming in over the next 3 years.
Teams can still use Dedmon. He still has good value as a player. Yurt spent four years in Georgetown, a whole year overseas and an entire year as a Heat player and got a lot of time on the court, and will get an entire training camp/preseason this year. He is in his contract year, he should be ready to contribute when the season starts. The best time for him to learn on court is at the beginning of the season. He has enough years of coaching to be able understand where to be in the court and fundamentals.

If he has enough years of coaching to be able to understand the court and fundamentals, we know he has the size and is skilled, then why wasn't he on the court last year in front of Dedmon? What changes are happening over the summer that has leaped Yurtseven over Dedmon? I think it has a lot to do with knowing where to be at on the court depending on what was going on, you obviously have a different thought, so what is it, what kept Yurtseven as the 3rd string center behind Dedmon? What is happening in the summer that has changed that situation?

Also, very few teams would trade for Dedmon to actually use him instead of developing other players, so that market is so small that it's probable Miami would get basically nothing for him. As an expiring contract, that market is probably much larger and could bring back someone they could use or an asset.

This one is easy to answer Miami has always been all about commitments, look how bad we had to get for Duncan to be a net negative for him to get relegated to the bench. Dedmon was the back up 5 per commitments. He signed here for that role, Miami makes right by the vets they sign. Hence why Yurt was a starter when Bam went down instead of Dedmon. The backup role never changed only Yurts role being placed as a momentary starter. That means when Bam got healthy the one to come of the playing time is Yurt instead of Dedmon. Its how the heat staff does things.

We need to give Yurt more run than Dedmon. At this point we need to bank on his potential to break out which can help us with another great piece on the court or a potential trade chip. We already know what Dedmon is. He's not moving the needle. Yurt has the potential to move that needle.

Easiest thing for Tsai to do is fire Nash and Marks.

Nash was a chit signing from the get go. No brainer to fire him.

This is why the owner has been turning down all these deals and pulled Mark’s extension lol

All Tsai has to do is fire Nash and Marks and this is all over. I had a feeling this is what he wanted all along. He just gave Tsai an opening to stay. He demanded a firing not a sole destination  Ownership is going to use Marks not able to get a suitable deal as a scape goat to fire him. If he fires Marks and hires a new GM then that GM is going to want to hire his own coach.

That’s nonsense lol

What has Marks done to be fired? Every move that’s been made, including hiring Nash, was done at the request of KD/Kyrie.

Spo will find a way to get wins in the reg season and players like Duncan, Yurt, Dipo and Caleb will get more minutes to increase their trade value. We just have to hope Herro averages 23-25 ppg as a starter and we'll have a competitive package for KD midseason

Where exactly are the FGA coming from while playing with the starters? Who's shooting 3-4 fga less a game to give Herro 20-21 shots to make 23-25 ppg? I think most everyone was fine with him taking more shots away from some of the bench guys, but the starters is a different story. Is Miami taking shots away from it's 2 max players who they'd like to see score more? Is it Lowry who people bitched about not taking enough shots or whoever plays PF since last year Tucker only took 6 FGA a game. In the SG position Robinson and Strus took 9&11 FGA a game. It's quite possible if Herro moves to the starting lineup he's not getting enough FGA to score where you want him to and in fact, he could score less as a starter. Now toss in Oladipo in the rotation(if he's not starting), he's going to try to get back to being a scorer himself. Its going to be a very interesting season if there isn't a consolidation trade happening.

My main point is that he needs to take another leap and his value will only shine if he's a starter. If he remains a 6 man, his trade value will be lower

KD wants to be in control, but deflect all blame when what he created goes to ****. The whole Harden saga was ridiculous from the start.

This Durant trade is not happening with us. Boston with Jaylen Brown is the only feasible option and if that falls through you clean out the front office.

Would be wild to fire your head coach and GM for maybe 4 years of an old KD lol
