I believe right off the tip the ball was passed to Jovic to bring up to start the game haha. Wasn't always like that but just a funny thing I noticed.

It was by committee.

first half was probably my favorite half of basketball this year.

It was a mix of Jovic and JJJ

For a while we were on pace for a 30-40ish assist game, but it really came down to earth in the 3rd and 4th. think we finished with 20-25ish assists.

We give up Herro but we get Rozier to be our new PG. Nick Smith Jr is a young guard we can develop who we liked during the draft process. Gordon Hayward is a great piece to have for a playoff run. Duncan gets to start and you have a savage bench rotation of Hayward, JJJ, and Martin wrecking havoc.

I’m all about a Rozier trade but if we’re going to trade Herro AND a 1st we better be looking for an all star

Funny seeing a known Herro hater saying this, but you ain’t wrong! Herro and any form of FRP(s) should yield near all star / all star player.

Trade definitely has the look of getting done without the pick. I could see Hornets looking at this and saying Herro is there guy and fits there time line over Rozier.

It does at least on the surface to me seem pretty fair and legit for both sides where it makes sense to just do a straight up 1 for 1 but that's pretty rare to happen.

A spark plug offensive player best suited off the ball/bench but thinks he’s Luka. A guy who each time he goes down for a significant time with an injury (quite often) the team is noticeably better.

DEJOUNTE MURRAY the savior against the Juggernaut Wizards last night :

4-15 FG, 13 points, 3 assists and 2 TO, -22 for the game.

Trading Herro for this guy is beyond pointless, it's madness.

Murray isn't a top 15 PG in the league, Herro improves every year and fits better with his shooting.

BTW you don't trade Herro for Rozier either, you try to ADD those PGs to our core, none of them are worth giving up Herro.

But if he would of taken 21 shots would he of gotten more that 17 points?

Well despite being 4 years younger, Herro has a higher TS% for his career.

This year, Herro has mainly played as the the number 1 option with Jimmy out, While Murray is next to Tray young.

Regardless of you think is the better player, they're close enough to make a straight trade a total and definite lateral move.

Oh I don't want Murray over hero but i am just commenting on hero has some real stinker games where he is taking 21 shots to get 15-20 points just like Murray did last game. I do agree it is a lateral move if straight trade.

Yup and that’s how i think the organization would view it as a lateral move so we go back into this circle of if your not trading Herro for one of these guys your back to Duncan Robinson’s contract or trading Lowry for a bunch of other expiring’s but needing to include a 1st.

Herro is going to a stretch right now, but he has the skill to put it together.
Similar things happened to Bam in years past, and look at him now. Herro needs to get stronger, but the skill is there. I truly believe the best is yet to come from Herro this year.
