Indy was playing their asses off behind TJ. Then they started putting the ball into their bigs hands and they went off the rails.

The Pacers may as well trade away Siakam and McConnell.

This was so stupid. If I am the owner I am firing the GM and President of basketball ops

A chip is great but I would like to have my 25 star player who hasn't reached his ceiling available for a 10 year run. You can't risk that

No way Hali’s sitting this one out. It’s a legacy game. If they force him to miss it, he might be out next season with a trade request.

That's being over dramatic. I don't think Hali would put a request in because the team sat him because of a major injury. This is the dude who was sad over being traded from Sacramento. He'd be pissed but he'd understand.
The team has a duty to protect their star player in this case. They are looking like they will loose a chip and a year. And its no gurantee now that Hali will ever reach his ceiling.

I dont understand the extended rest on Siakam.. guy should not have been given even a minute of rest this half. Its game 7.. time to exhaust all your energy youve got left

Instead they can look forward to paying him $45 million to rehab.

Indy gameplan is to let TJ go supernova

Nobody is helping him on offense right now.

It's definitely a risky move, but I’m sure all of Indiana coaches and FO is ready for this moment.

This franchise is hungry for a chip and they rolled the dice.

SGA with the dagger. Its over. Congrats OKC and SGA. I have SGA 3rd best player in league after this chip. He's over Doncic for me. Its Joker, Giannis and SGA

Looks like OKC finally decided to stop playing with their food. Gonna waltz into a championship.

Tbh, I think it would have ended this way anyway, even with Haliburton playing. But I know Indy fans are going to always wonder. And that sucks for them.

Agreed. I had OKC doing this in game 7, regardless. Just sucks to get so close and lose, especially when you have never won before.

Just an awful night for Indy. Not only do they lose in a game 7, but that Hali injury is going to be a long recovery. I feel sorry for their fans.

Dude has potential, looking like a young Jimmy Butler sometimes without the IQ.
