- 8:55AM Jo, Miami was called by Brooklyn to counter a boston offer for Durant, they have an official offer sheet from Boston.
- 8:57AM, Durant has also spoken to front office as of this morning and accepted a trade to Boston for the package presented.

New update just now!!!

- 9:10AM, hey just heard Miami has one more card to play, but it needs ownership approval. The execs are mulling it over. Heard we needed to get something back before noon. They are pulling the trigger soon.

Short of trading Jimmy for Durant, I just don't see it.

Any chance it's not Bam?

If it's really Jaylen Brown and peanuts from Boston, I still suspect that a multitude of picks is more appealing. Marks can sell the rebuild that way and save his job vs banking on Simmons Irving and Brown to come together and find success (and still have no picks)

Well who really wants kd now after easily accepting a trade to Boston after all the hooplah of him wanting to come here.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Bam would have to involve at least a 3rd team because the Nets can't have Bam and Simmons on the roster.

Expected. If you want a high level player you have to give great value.

This organization lowballs trade offers and then overpays it's own players, it's really confusing.

I don't see how we could construct a better offer that wouldn't leave us in the same place but with fewer assets ... or outright cripple the team. We could offer Butler, but is that really an upgrade going forward? Durant turns 34 in September. That probably shortens our window by a year, and we'd have to give up the few assets we have on top of Jimmy. :noway:

It’ll be interesting how this plays out. Maybe we throw the kitchen sink just so Boston don’t get him & leave us f*cked for the nxt 4 seasons when we were the one that was supposed to improve the most by landing KD.

Boston prob knows if we get him they’re f*cked so they pulliing the trigger w/ Brown
