Maybe Duncan comes back on a 1 year minimum deal, with a promise of a longer contract next year. That way they can still keep the 2026 cap space for a potential max contract

You ride with that...plus Jovic and Jaquez...for the next two years and see what you have. Hopefully by that point, the pick to Charlotte will have conveyed and we'd have a full cupboard moving forward.
Not saying I love being married to this group, but this is the boat we're in.
Yeah but i am now hesitant that Jovic and Jaquez is part of the future. I suspect we will find out very soon

I know it's completely unrelated but this makes that Rozier deal look really bad in hindsight now lol.

Re: 2025 Offseason Season Thread Vol. 3
Giving up a first round pick in the Rozier trade NEVER made sense.
We were getting Charlotte off of his contract TWO years early.
Ridiculous that Charlotte got the cap relief AND pick compensation.

I know Bam is improving as a 3pt shooter and Ware can shoot the 3, but the spacing in that offense isnt ideal.

I hope larrson is a part of the future.. the defense he showed last year as a rookie, thats not something you can teach. I think he can be a very productive roleplayer off the bench. Needs to improve free throw shooting and get better at 3 point range

Totally agree, it's why I'm against getting Kuminga. But if assume they feel it can develop and it's why keeping Duncan is important

Yeah I hope so also. That's why I think it's intriguing to see the next move

Utah probably got Nurkic to prepare to trade Kessler to the Lakers now that LeBron is putting the pressure on them

Re: 2025 Offseason Season Thread Vol. 3
If the Heat are setting their eyes on Kuminga I suggest they do it rapidly, don't let it linger. Getting Kuminga to sit down with Spo early is important
