If you want the South Beach feel without the tourists you can hit Ft.Lauderdale Beach and Las Olas. Also good is the Hard Rock casino, The Village in Hallandale and Hollywood Circle. These are further north in Broward county. Bayside, Coconut Grove and Downtown are in Miami-Wade county.

I don't venture into South Miami so someone else would have to chime in there.

You guys realize 9 times out of 10 those parties being advertised with an NBA player the player doesn't even attend right? Or they show up briefly just to make an appearance then leave. Its about making money.
