OMG. Could you imagine if we got both Camby and Allen?

One could dream, right?

it's not a dream, it's Pat's plan.

I would like to take a second to address our number 3 concern... The stretch 4. Yes... We want Ray as our 1st choice in the backcourt... Yes we want Camby as our 1st choice in the frontcourt... But as our stretch 4 why choose rashard lewis or Kenyon martin over Antawn Jamison over anyone else... No one is speaking to him or about him... Instant scoring off the bench... And rebounds ten times better than Lewis... And has played with LeBron before.

Should be the opening scene to the blockbuster summer action movie based on his life.

and can someone please ban this 316 guy, reading his posts piss me off...he's either an epic troll doing his job to perfection or the most annoying 13-year old ever...every other post is this guy patting himself a back or wanting everyone to jack him off...GTFO bro...

EVERYONE HERE WANTED RAY ALLEN DOUCHEBAG!

I apologize for ruffling feathers just an overconfident Heat fan

If he really is a 13 year old (I think he's actually 12), don't you think this a lil too harsh for the kid??

But seriously Miami316, you think you could tone down on the excitement a lil until after we actually get Ray signed?

You forgot to mention he's averaged 17 and 18 points the last 2 seasons. Which means you can forget about it, Jamison is not signing for the vet min anywhere

Rashard Lewis would just be another James Jones. Wasn't there a rumor he banged LeBron's soon to be wife? I guess if there were any truth to that the Heat wouldn't be pursuing him.

Whatever happened to Jamario Moon? the guy had good chemistry with Wade for a minute there back in 2009 i think? then he just disappeared.

I apologize to 316, we are all wanting the same goal...

As far as Pat Riley, I have ceased to question the guy honestly, even when Battier was sucking ass, I knew it would pay off somewhere somehow, everytime this guy has a plan, it has been completed to perfection...from the day he walked in here he has made each and every move to make the Heat a relevant and contending team...he comes in, right behind comes Zo and Timmy, cornerstones of any team, then he drafts Wade, Butler, brings Odom, EJ, guys that kept us afloat after Zo's freak condition, something any other GM wouldve probably crumbled under, puts his ass out there to bring in Shaq, brings us a championship, and then the ballsiest move ever, getting the best player in the world to leave his hometown and put his name on the line...

BALLS...

Ray Allen said he would give Boston the last word, though.

so even though Ray Allen should make his decision today, he probably won't.

I'm pretty sure Jamison hates Lebron.

Random thought, but the parallels between the 06 Heat and 11 Mavs are starting to come full circle now.

06 Heat were a team many thought had their best years behind them (namely 05), underdogs in the playoffs to several teams including the favored Mavs, had a miraculous title run, an unimpressive year after with a 1st round exit, and were lottery bound by year 3.

The 11 Mavs were a team many thought had their best years behind them, underdogs in the playoffs to several teams including the favored Heat, had a miraculous title run, an unimpressive year after with a 1st round exit, and are (probably) lottery bound by year 3.

Very odd how many similarities there are
