Rounds 1 & 2 I don't think you will see a defined rotation Spo will continue to shuffle based on how the game is being played and how each player is performing.

When the bleep hits the fan you will see:
Bosh, UD, Bron, Wade, Rio
Bird, Ray, Battier & Cole (with Douglas having a shot at NoCo's minutes)

but even as I list Cole it will be as a bit player (9th man)

Rashard Lewis could see some time in place of Battier but I have a feeling Battier, knowing this is his last run ever, will go all out and that level of hustle and grit will encourage Spo to play him.

With the playoffs set to start less than a week away and to avoid having all these threads discussing different things playoff related, I think it is time to start our official playoffs thread. This thread will be used for all 1st round Heat talk. I will create a new one after each series until we win it all

... or not :-?

In addition to this thread we will have "Game Threads" for each game the Heat plays during the playoffs to discuss individual games.

Even though Cole been sucking ass lately, I have a feeling that he will be pivotal in certain games this Playoffs.
Lewis can sit to the end of the bench, however.

Someone please get some advanced stats about Cole and Lewis impact, tweet them to all Heat writers (Ira Winderman, Michael Wallace, Joseph Goodman) and ask them shove it in Spo's face during a press.

Raptors? He actually got benched by Spo during a Raps game despite being on fire scoring cuz of his D
Bobcats?
Pacers? Still yet to play vs. Indy so we have no idea how he matches up
Bulls? Nah lol
Wizards?

I'm tired of people making it seem like we're protesting for Beasley because he's good. NO we're protesting for Beasley because he's much better than Rashard.

Time to embrace the second seed and prove the haters wrong...for the third time in a row.

Will this be easy? It certainly won't. There is a reason why not many teams have three-peated in NBA history. You can bet that every time we drop a game, the media will be on it like white n rice and try to make it have implications for LBJ's Free Agency. We just have to tune out the noise and enjoy the (bumpy) rise. We are witnessing history.

i actually like the 2nd seed way better with the playoffs almost set

no Chi/BKN unless one of them Beats IND

so no /IND/BKN/CHI untill ECF and we only need to face one of the three

but dont sleep on Cha and Tor/ Was would be too young to really be hard this year.... but Cha and Tor have some tough players and wont simply roll aside..

it wont be a cakewalk to the ECF but i am kinda reliefed we dont have to fight through two of Chi/BKN and IND to get to the finals, but only one of them

especialy the Bulls unless they get to the ECF... i feel like they drained us the last year .. they beat us up so IND was even more tough than it had to be

i like our road to the ecf like i said wont be totally easy but no comparison to Indis road^^

This team must step up big time if they want to even make it to the Finals! If we play like this season I can't even see us make it to the Finals!

why so pessimistic?

we do know that they have stept it up so far come playoff time and this year no one is seriously injured *knocks on wood*

and as it seems we face Cha then Tor(or Was) and only one of IND/BKN/CHI

i am far from saying it will be easy.. but it could be easier than last year..

we had the bulls the second round wich beat us up pretty bad before we got Indiana so we had the two toughest and brutal defences 2 series in a row

Cha and Tor play defence but are not really physicaly or mentaly "brutal" as Chi was

that leaves most likley BKN or IND.. so, either Team will arrive at the ECF most likley totally gassed...

if BKN gets there they had Chi and IND beat them up and they are old.. not sure how PP /KG/Terry will take a combined beating from CHI and IND

If IND gets there they had either Chi wich would leave them tired as hell because they would face a Team with equal defence and the bulls fight.. to the nails.. every game.. and if its BKN vs IND ... they will need to either play all time great defence or be hot on offense to keep up with the Nets scoring ... either way they will probably be exhausted

and who ever comes out West will be pretty Tired as well.. the West is a war this year

SA,OKC,LAC,HOU are all great Teams and even GSW,POR and Dallas can get hot for a Series and Memphis will be hard too

and they can not avoid each other SA has to play likley Hou AND OKC to get to the finals(after beating Memphis) and OKC has to play most likley LAC and SA to get there

so every West Contender plays at least two very,very hard Teams before they even get to the finals

in summary

yes LBJ-ITALY you are right they need to step up

but i have confidence they will..

have i missed a rule change?

i always thought the division leaders would be 1-2-3 by default no matter what the record

has that changed?
