could be if we strike out. it sounds like we will have 8mil at the most to spend this summer. probably cant get anyone decent with 8mil this summer lol

This off season is why I wish Riley were better at drafting and developing talent. If we strikeout on free agents we have nothing to fall back on. Hopefully he starts grabbing mid shelf guys before even those guys disappear and we are left with nothing.

I think we'll get Sanchez since it seems like he prefers us over Liverpool and has already agreed to personal terms. Would jump for joy if we land Vidal, but find Schneiderlin, Khedira, or Luiz Gustavo more realistic.

& to the Liverpool fans -- Sanchez has already expressed his displeasure in potentially joining Pool. :lol:

I think our only saving grace is that Spo is clearly better than McHale.

Collison > Rio. I still think Rio's max is $4 million per. I'd like him for $3 million once the market dries and he's still sitting there like he belongs.

Darren Collison just accepted a 3 year, $16 million contract with Sacramento. That's $5.3 million per year.

It's starting to seem like it.

Didn't Dan say that we went after Avery Bradley and Jodie Meeks but got outbid? Bradley signed for 4/32 and Meeks 3/19. If we simply got 'outbid' we must have been offering the MLE.

Unless we were just smart enough to have a limit with those guys of around MLE money knowing that they're not worth more.

See the Deng/Ariza talk seems to be concrete, and there's just no way we are realistically targeting those guys for MLE money. Makes me hold hope that we've got more, but I just don't know.
