How long have I been saying this for? They need to be starting and live with the results for development sake. The Whiteside era needs to be over with. Trade or bench him and hope he can contribute like the way he did when we brought him up in a limited role.

KO makes smart plays even when he has his struggles. He also makes a great pairing with Bam because of his ability to stretch the floor. It's a no brainer at this point. Only reason i feel Whiteside continues to start is because of his contract and feelings.

JJ has always been better off the bench and also makes for a good pairing with either Bam or KO. He just needs to get out of his funk. Once that happens we have a solid three man big rotation that will keep us in many games. You can only currently pair Whiteside with JJ at the moment and that even has not been optimal.

When at full health this should be our rotation

PF Bam Adebayo PF James Johnson
SF Justise Winslow SF Rodney McGruder
SG Josh Richardson SG Wayne Ellington (Dion Waiters)
PG Goran Dragic PG Tyler Johnson PG/SG D Wade

Once Waiters is healthy a trade desperately needs to be made. Nobody is trading for Waiters, TJ, and JJ. Possibly JJ if we trade for another bad contract in return. Dragic is the prime trade piece we have right now without having to trade any of the kids.

Waiters could be given the starting PG job if he proves healthy and I can live with that with him sharing ball handling duties with Winslow in the starting unit. Ideally we can try and trade Dragic and McGruder or (Ellington) If we waives trade clause for a SF 6'7 or up who can shoot and defend.

Nicholas Batum would actually work well with our lineup here if Charlotte is interested in doing a swap for Whiteside. Would also look into getting Kaminsky as he would be an ideal stretch big off the bench to pair with Bam when KO is out.
