If they don’t make the deal then Brown is almost definitely gonna be looking elsewhere after his deal is up.

I’ve always seen Brown as a fit for the Heat - I’d be tempted to throw some assets at the Nets and see if he can get rerouted in the deal (or directly after). He doesn’t solve our PF issue, but having Jimmy/Brown/Bam is a damn good 2-way core

If the Nets won't trade Durant for our assets, why would they trade Brown for our assets?

How does this make any sense? They turned garbage down for Durant ... and they are going to take it for what they traded Durant for???

Hopefully 34 hits Durant hard. Hopefully it blows up in their face.

Nets can't tank because they don't own their picks. They will be looking to keep Brown and another move with the picks they acquired.

Eff KD, you dont gut the team for an aging oft injured star and deal with the consequences if/when he gets hurt again. Make some smaller moves to get a 4 if you want to just do something, otherwise, wait for the trade deadline. Tired of being handcuffed while we wait this fake garbage out.

Personally would rather compete without KD, than give up half the team and future assets. Run it back.

Get our assets and their non-Brown assets. Double dip for extra assets (picks & youth - not that we have a lot) & set up with an even younger crew. maybe Marks likes Herro, and just wants to delay the build a little bit.

This negative swing is worse that’s not having a ICC bomb for a day.

Seemingly receiving a lot less picks (if any of value) in the rumored Brown offer.

And hit the weight room.

“For sure,” he said. “I’m going to definitely bulk up. I’m going to just get stronger and just develop more technique in guarding those bigger guys. I’m going to definitely be in the weight room this summer and I’m going to just do my best to guard those guys. I already know how to guard them, but I’m going to just continue to do what I do.”
