I'd be happy with Fears at 8 (Or if we know he's going to be there at 10-12 we can trade back for a future pick as well as Fears). If we do jump into top 4, it's all about Harper. Not even in my dreams would I dare Imagine us getting Flag, Harper though plays exactly at our biggest position of need. If we can get him then we can concentrate on finding the perfect complementary peaces around the team while he is on his rookie contract.

Love the prospect of Harper. Gotta be top 2 to get him.

Top 4 ain't so bad tho...

One can only dream. Granted they still have to actually be someone in the NBA and nothing is guaranteed. But I'd rather the hope that for once in a long time, we a true game changer young on a rookie contract through the draft. Over burning every asset we get our hands on to try to pry one in their 30's.

We're kind of in no man's land right now. No matter what big name may want to come here, it would probably require one of our top two plus more to get them here. So we're right back to no assets, but not good enough to actually be serious about winning a ring. While also currently still not being good enough with no avenues to really dramatically improve. The more you think about it the more the thought of "we actually need this draft to go good for us" get louder if we want at least hope for a good team in the near future.

The Davion/VJ Baylor connection will do so much more than the Jaime/Love UCLA connection for our Heat, STAY TUNED.

I think fears is going to be our most realistic target..

Has anyone been following Jase Richardson or Kasparas?

I'd add VJ with Harper and Flagg as my top 3. Not really sold on Ace, but could be wrong.

Good games today to potentially improve Miami's owed pick from GSW by 4 slots. If GSW lost to Milwaukee in GS and Clipps beat Cavs in LA (both far from a certainty), then they move from sole 22nd pick slot to a three way tie for 18th.

His athleticism is off the charts. I really hope we get him. Most explosive guard here since Wade

If the Heat luck out and get a pick early enough to take an NBA level franchise player... I wonder if they would consider clearing house and selling off assets to build around him with dudes on his time line.

If it takes 3-5 years to get the guy up to speed, that that puts Bam at 30-32 years old.

I guess that is risky as hell too...could end up with a great guy...but miss on picks, or he is injury prone or whatever...tons of reasons it could fail...but I am sure we do not want to sit through to many more seasons of Tyler and Bam.

Its his worst year for sure as a game manager.

Spo is as safe as safe can get. No matter what happens, having to trade Jimmy mid season shines up the sh*t to make it look like choc cake. Even if it was just a bad season, we don’t have the personnel for them to blame Spo.

Those that have the fantasy of Spo getting sh*tcanned need to drop it. It won’t happen.

How could Rutgers have the projected 2nd (Harper) and 3rd (Bailey) pick in the draft and finish with a losing record in college basketball? The big 10 wasn't exactly the SEC this year.

Brilliant tank talk by Spo. Continuing the masterclass in stealth tanking.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

**** the Bucks tbh. We could have a 30 point lead with 3 mins left and lose to them, but they cant beat a Steph less GSW.....

I need their pick to be as close to lottery as possible. Last night was a golden opportunity.

I don't even think we can fairly judge Bam or Ware this year...the team is leaking multiple cutters into the paint with regularity. The bigs are being put in a washing machine...even Bam.

I do get that sense that Ware is getting caught flat footed, or is having mental lapses from time to time...and that feeds into his pre-draft "lack of motor" talking points...but damn...in all fairness...far to often the dude can't be in two places at one time if we are going to ask him to be the last line of defense as often as we are. It seems he has been frustrating Spo as of late, I would guess there is a logical progression he is suppose to be making on defense...I would also guess he being asked to do something that is counter to his instincts.

This entire team, coach included needs the season to end, go workout their frustrations in the gym and come back with a fresh mind. They really need to install a new offense, and new defense for next year.

On the bright side, 3ammy is right, Bam is still Bam...and odds are good next year we clean up the roster, get another shot at building a balanced roster, and maybe start from scratch without a small ball mentality.
