I think the big problem for Kapono in Toronto is that TJ's been out or playing poorly so often.
Kapono generally does well with Ford on the floor and a lot less so than with Calderon because Ford is an aggressive iso dribble-penetrator in a similar fashion to Wade (not a direct comparison, just a stylistic comment). Ford sucks defenders in towards him, giving Kapono the inch he needs to get his shot off and BOOM! 50% 3ball.
But that hasn't happened a lot because Ford's been having such an up-and-down season even when he's been healthy.
I was bewildered by the Kapono signing given our team needs but when he's playing with Ford, he's a very helpful piece.
