Byron Scott isnt a defensive coach for one, he likes his team to RUN.
Princeton Offense

Oh only your suggestive REALISTIC replacement as coach is Mike Brown, then I'll fire him the next game this team lose back 2 back, or 2 lose consecutive against elite teams
Y'all are just mad because y'all don't got swagger like Lebron has. It is a scientific fact that Bron's swagger has the power to transform an otherwise level-headed adult male into a jealous woman.

A team with this much talent should not be down by 20 points multiple times within the first 10 games. A team with this much talent should not be 5-4 and/or lose 3 out of 4 games. A team with this kind of athleticism and wing players shouldn't be playing at the 5th slowest pace in the entire league. A team with this much offensive talent shouldn't be going through scoring droughts like they do. I mean seriously, the guy has 2 clear-cut HOF players (one of which has top 5 potential ) and a 6 time all-star by the age of 27. At some point this guy needs to be held accountable.

And second, I am getting sick of watching these defenders exagerate so much on the help defense. When a player is penetrating the entire team doesn't need to be 15 feet off their man and over-help as much as they do. All these elite PGs are doing are beating the PG into the lane knowing that the entire team is going to collapse on him, leaving his teammates for wide open shots or open dunks/layups. Adjustments need to be made, because it's ridiculous that a team with this much talent is 5-4.

Well I said Byron Scott because many of us pre-2010 Heat fans were calling for Spo's head way before we even acquired the 3 FAs and Scott was the only experienced head coach available this off season. Him or Avery.

And you didn't answer the question by the way.

That's why Spo is simply Mike Brown 2.0. They ran exactly the same defensive system, that in theory works with robots, but not human. It takes away a lot of individual defensive responsibility.

If the Heat want to go through the exact same experiment like the Cavs had the past 5 years, then keep Spo.

Ummm since it's nowhere possible that he'll have the same offense as Spo, he's proven that in Nets and NO

No way seeing people IDLE around the 3 point arc

No way Seeing LOW IQ Anthony making past starting lineup or probably roster

But seriously your trying to make a hypothetical world where Scott = Spo offense system is hard for me to accept for 1. Since Byron isnt about playing ISOLATION

Despite this latest reverse following Tuesday's defeat to Utah, Miami head coach Erik Spoelstra said there was no cause for alarm yet.

"We are not hitting the panic button by any stretch of imagination. If you were to go back a game and a half ago you would say we were mentally and physically very tough," he told reporters.

"We are not going to over-react but we are very aware the last game and a half of what happened but we will be the ones who will fix it," he said.

Indeed Spoelstra believes that come the end of the 82 game regular season, his team will look back on this period as a learning period.

"Probably at the end of the day, you get to March, April this is probably something that will benefit us.

"I know a lot of people maybe thought it was going to happen seamlessly... but you need to face adversity, you need to stumble, to feel this pain, to be able to respond and grow.

"In this last 48 hours they are getting to know each other, this is good, this is what makes you stronger," he said.

This **** started Arroyo and Joel undersized hands of stone Anthony...

And again a good team put a 10 point lead upon us in the first quarter.

How about that?

In the locker room, the guy talks about put your egos aside.

**** youuuuuuuu Spoelstra...

Piece of ****...

I was on the spoelstra is mike brown 2.0 and both dont deserve to be nba coaches bandwagon since the beginning of last season.

I hope we can get rid of this loser before he completely ruins the season.

I'm not ready to get rid of Spoelstra until we get a larger sample of games. If we go something like 18-12, then I'd be ready to fire him.

It's too early to fire a coach of a team that is in its second week of games. The Heat have like two or three returning players? Only two that are really important... It's also not a good sign that he had to address putting egos away at half time just a couple games into the season. It also doesn't help that his best 4th man is injured at the moment.

whether or not its deserved is irrelevant..

i mean its early yes, but i dont see how any here can say the heat are playing worse than expected so far this year

Peopl econtinue to say give Spo time and I don't get it. What has he improved on in the 2 years he's coached to make you say he's gonna get it. He is what he is. A good defensive coach but overall not fit to be coach. Talking about players ego's on national tv? Really? Wade might not push him out, but Bosh and Lebron definitely will. It's only a matter of time.

Spo is an idiot. He's a good defensive coach but he is an idiot too. Why do we keep starting Arroyo? How many more games until he realises that playing the first 8-10 minutes without a 3 point shooter is destined for failure.

We're also not getting Bosh the ball enough. He scored 15 points on 10 shots last night, what's wrong with that? LeBron needs to give him the ball.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.
