I'm not going to argue with you if you think we are a good team. That's just...yeah no. I won't. Agree to disagree.

Best Net Rating team in the back half of the year last season

You are still so amazingly butthurt about Wade, it's time to get over it. The jury is out on that move....turns out the Heat were right, despite your crying

Y'all keep bringing Wade up though, she didn't.

We're running the same treadmill he was supposedly gonna trap us in, and an extended treadmill if we're about to pay certain characters into the 2020s

It's time to forget about that argument and focus on what we're doing....people are still talking about Lebron coming back, c'mon man.

Wait who is this Jonathan guy? Ethan has tweeted since like April. And has been retweeted a few tweets since then.

Going by his twitter handle, he's the guy who runs the ESPYs??

Seriously though, folks are posting tweets from nobodies on here for a while now, and it is difficult to filter them at this point!

That's the very person that posted the tweet here, likely trying to up his own Twitter visibility by framing the tweet as though Ethan told him and not the entire sports talk radio audience of South Florida. I could do the same thing with my account, but I'm not thirsty for followers. Ethan really hasn't tweeted much since he's been back (or since he first vanished, for that matter).

If Miami doesn't improve this offseason, it won't matter if everyone's healthy next year, Miami won't make the playoffs. A team at this level cannot afford to stagnate, and Riley sees that. This Paul George situation is going to be interesting. I highly doubt he's moved tomorrow night, though. That sort of thing rarely happens on Draft Night.

We are definitely making the playoffs if we brought back the same core from last year.

Miami HEAT Offseason/Trades/FA Thread: Sardine Central

If we can get PG without giving up too much youth, or masses of cap space then it should be done.

If Micky doesn't want Winslow traded for PG, then build a package elsewhere, and if it's around Dragic then so be it; if it's around TJ/McBob/14, again that's fine.

We need to have enough space to resign JJ/Dion or a max and one. If Dragic goes then ball handling becomes a huge thing, but his contract is good, and I would see him as being a bigger draw card for FA than TJ or J-Rich at the point.

Ultimate deal for me would be to clear enough space to be able to sign HG, resign JJ, whilst keeping Winslow (14/TJ/McBob/Ellington). Our wing/PF rotation becomes super hard to match: PG/GH/Winslow/JJ/J-Rich/McGruder/White/Babbitt.

We would still need a back-up C & some depth at PG (J-Rich is not enough) - so that's where the room exception needs to go.

EDIT: this deal also doesn't need us to waive Bosh first - the difference between incoming & outgoing first within the CBA.

Exactly. People want to be mad about the truth that our team isn't good but I'm the butthurt one

I didn't even mention how idiotic it was for us to not tank last year to "prove a point" but he's already crying about Wade, who no one mentioned. Only one butthurt is him.

Best net rating during the last half of the season. Lol Oh really? When are we putting up our banner?

The squad we had last season with a healthy Winslow and Waiters is definitely a playoff team in the East.

Not interested in signing Dion Waiters and becoming a treadmill team like Portland. I love James Johnson he brings plenty of different weapons to the team and I could see him being a leader on a winning team, Waiters.... Not so much. He's a good scorer don't get me wrong, but ultimately I think his play style contributes to becoming a treadmill team.

Arison already said no.

Good, glad to hear it. Phuck PG. Dude is NOT a Heat type player. He's selfish, throws his teammates under the bus, etc. He doesn't fit the "Heat culture" at all. Never liked him as a Pacer, and I wouldn't like him as a Heat either. Let him go rot in L.A. with their garbage roster.

On Kristaps, Phil said, "As much as we love this guy, we have to do what's best for the club."

Winslow + 14 + anything
for
Porzingod

Dragic / Hayward / J Johnson / Porzingod / Whiteside

Oh my goodness imagine the pick and pop between Dragic and the Zinger.

Hey Phil Jax, if you squint Winslow is the same exact player as Josh Jackson.

If we make it through the offseason by adding Gordon Hayward, Luke Kennard/TJ Leaf/Dennis Smith JR(Long shot) and retaining James Johnson I'll be happy. Trading away Tyler Johnson would be the icing.

14th + TJ for #10, needs to happen. TJ's contract is a killer in the next 2 years.

You seem to be taking it rather personally. Let's just accept that you bad mouthed this franchise, and threw a tantrum when Wade left. Nearly everything you cried about has been completely invalidated. Yet here you, claiming the team with the best net rating and best record for 41 games last season, "isn't good".

41 games isn't a small sample, this team played damn good basketball last season and found something. Really evident if you watched them nightly

Tyler Johnson and James Johnson need each other. If one leaves it wont be the same.
