Not against Myrie as a hail mary

Not against keeping or trading Tyler either-- lots of good options. I'd like to add some more established talent, cause I don't think we've got a whole lot of time left for Jimmy-- but whatever.

I wouldn't be against Tyler and Lowry for Randle, although that's a lot to gamble.

Not likely. Kyrie would have to get vaccinated against the "Disease of Me" first, and we all know how he feels about vaccines.

Turner could be an option but I don’t think Spo views him as a match with Bam even though he can shoot. Team has been reluctant to move Bam from Center. They value Bam’s speed and switchability at the 5 spot. Think more along the lines of 6’8-9 PF who can score, switch, and shoot the 3. Grant and Barnes probably fit the ideal mold of what Spo and the organization is looking for at the 4 spot.

Lowry is getting another year here at very least if Jimmy is here. He brought him here and they are obviously very close

Woah woah woah, be careful giving that one a reasonable basketball take that doesn’t involve trading everyone and firing everyone!

FYI, Bam won't be completely immune from trade talk.

I suspect Riley will be having internal workshops on how to get Emiid on this roster.

Granted, the idea is a long shot, though.

That’s fine, if we trade Bam that means my favorite team just got a player that’s arguably top 5 in the league lol.

I think the biggest problem is that Butler is no Wade. Im not talking about on the court but off the court. Wade knew how to make friends, how to get into peoples ears etc. Butler is clearly not that guy, hes not a recruiter. If you dont have someone like that, you can show up wearing all the rings you want and get rejected.

Durant said nah to us twice and went with Golden State, then he went to the Nets. Giannis was like nah man and won a ring last year after sweeping us. We need a Wade level recruiter.

That’s Bam, guys around the league and guys his age love him

No need to go into a whole diatribe in here on your personal opinions on the vaccine. Asking for a bunch of off topic derailing responses. It’s Irving choice and he has his right. The discussion is the unlikely hood of Riley bringing him here since the old man does seem to be for it and even still today wears his mask in certain settings.

Does a trade with rockets work for wood? They would probably want to offload wall aswell tho…

Wall
Dipo
Butler
Wood
Bam

Is a upgrade in my opinion.. not sure what salaries can make it match.. lowry, Herro, duncan, PJ etc

Wall’s contract will be bought out. Wood will be a name of interest for the Heat and the Rockets will be looking for picks in return so could be a good trade match. Rockets also have a ton of cap space so may be willing to eat an extra 4-5 million helping the Heat sign it’s other players without hefty tax penalty. Think Wood’s 12 million for Duncan’s 16 million with a couple of picks might work.

We should be able to get solid intel on Christian Wood. PJ Tucker and Oladipo both played with him in Houston. If Tucker says he can help then the organization should make the move. If all it cost us is Duncan and this years late first and a protected future pick i say let’s do it.

Wall won’t come here via trade but he’s 100 percent a buyout target.

Wall is definitely a name to watch but on the buyout market. He's making 47M next season.

Almost certain Heat will circle back on Wood this offseason if price is right. Once the Rockets draft another big I think it will be.

Read on Twitter

I’m certain he has plenty of friends around the league who would love to play with him here. It’s up to the front office to make it happen (within reason, of course).

What do we do with Omer Yurtseven? Spo seemed to be so reluctant to play him. Even when Dedmon was showing nothing during the regular season Spo refuses to play him as a backup Center. Maybe he just doesn’t fit Spo’s vision of a defensive Center in his system. Yurt could very well be a trade throw in with Duncan.

We went guard heavy with our two ways in Javonte Smart and Mulder. Vincent could also very well be dealt in a package with Duncan.

Strus looks like a keeper. Great relationship with Butler pretty much guarantees his return. Would like to see him return to his bench role next year with Tyler taking over as the starter barring a trade.

Max can blossom into a 3&d guy for Miami. You can't tell me he's worse of a defender than Danny Green at this stage.
