Defensively I think he just hates life with the Knicks to be honest but we dont tolerate that. He’d buy in.
Reddish has already had some monster games this season.
Considering Dipo will never be healthy apparently we get the 2 best players in that trade and the better pick lol
I would expect that there would be no picks swapped, or they’d ask for a pick. But I’m super happy with the proposed deal![]()
We need one more piece, and this is the time to either piss or get off the pot. We’ve got a super soft section of our schedule coming up, and it’s the chance to cement a rotation and confidence in style of play. Bam is on the path to being an All-Star & with Jimmy we’re on the cusp of being a tie contender like we were in 2005/06. Pat needs to swing another one of those deals that brings in the pieces we need, and I’ve been saying we need our Sheed deal to put us into the next level.
Yep even if we send a pick we still have multiple to move for other upgrades. Only issue is I believe Dipo can’t be traded until January 15th.
Yes schedule is going to ease up a ton here. In 14-15 games we SHOULD have the 3rd seed or be right there fighting to grab it from whoever has it (Cavs/Sixers/Hawks). There are a lot of fraudulent teams ahead of us right now. Go 1-2 over these next 3 (@ Boston twice, @ Memphis) worst case and then we make our run.

Re: **Fantasy Trade Thread** Updated for 2023
Im bored so here’s my fantasy trade proposal if we were to ever move on from Jimmy and Lowry for a “youth movement”.
Heat out: Lowry, Jimmy, Herro, 3 1sts, 2nds, Duncan
Heat in: SGA, Ingram, Temple, Kira Lewis, Dort
Thunder out: SGA, Dort, 1st
Thunder in: Herro, Devonte Graham, Jaxson Hayes, Romeo Langford, 2 Miami 1st, 1 Lakers 1st (via NO 2023 or 2024)
Pelicans out: Ingram, Hayes, Graham, Temple, Kira, Lakers 1st
Pelicans in: Lowry, Jimmy, 2 2nds
Spurs out: Langford
Spurs in: Duncan, Thunder 1st
SGA/Dipo or Gabe
Strus/Dort
Martin/Temple
Ingram/Jovic
Bam/Dedmon
How good is that team? Core big 3 of SGA/Ingram/Bam. SGA is 24, Bam and Ingram are 25.
Scoot
Herro
Giddey
Chet
Victor
That would be wild if luck played out like that for OKC
Lowry/???
CJ/Herb
Jimmy/Herb
Zion/Nance
Jonas/Willy
NO would be stacked.

Love this trade but dont see it happening. Ingram would be great next to BAM and we have a trio including SGA. Sweet!

Brutal though no team is lining up for his services anyways. Another terrible front office decision when it looks like he could be out of the league after his contract expires

Oladipo on top of that after reading the details of his contract also has a right to refusal no trade clause

When you play like trash, expect people to treat you like trash.
Good teams are always proactive and ready to rescue star players from dumpster fire teams.

If Bam went to Boston just go ahead and give them the next 3 championships while teams work a few years to try and counter.

Just last night you were crying that Bam and Herro needed help. This trade does that.
Maybe pry a future first from Phoenix and package that with our own first to build a package for Turner.
Lowry
Herro
Bridges
Bam
Turner
Dynasty.

Lol this is embarrassingly bad.
Sure, let’s give you our all defense C averaging 20 per game entering his prime. In return we’ll take the injury prone 5 you just mentioned in your article, an undersized two who is better as a bench player, and a fringe starter 4.

That Boston trade is a joke. Riley would never do that. If he did, Id stop watching the Heat, that's just stupid.
Trading Jimmy, although he is my favorite on the team has to be considered as he is the only real asset. Honestly, there is something going on with him and the team. What's the deal with this return to action conditioning status? Its not like he wasted himself against Memphis. Im getting tired of this half a$$ approach to playing. We havent had a full roster all year and we needed him, but he has to rest?
This team never quits and usually has a better second half of the year, but 11-14 at this point is a strong sample size to see were nothing but a .500 team at best and likely first round exit.

Re: **Fantasy Trade Thread** Updated for 2023
Kyle Lowry is our only big attachable salary that I see us being able to use in trade in order to improve this year and even get us out of salary cap hell next year. Still think a trade with the Bulls is a win win for both sides. Unfortunately we are stuck with Duncan for the foreseeable future. Maybe we can pull a change of scenery deal with Dallas for Davis Bertans. I know Duncan has a fan in Mark Cuban so it's possible. I would also be fine with having the 6'10 Bertans on the bench instead giving us more depth in the front court. So to revisit the trade with Chicago.
Chicago deals
PG Coby White 6'4 (Expiring contract w bird rights) 7.4 mil
PG Goran Dragic 6'4 (Expiring) 1.8 mil
C Nikola Vucevic 6'10 (Expiring w bird rights) 22 mil
Future 2nd round pick
to Miami for
PG Kyle Lowry 6'0 (Expires after next year) 28 mil
SG Max Strus 6'5 (Expiring w bird rights) 1.8 mil
C Omer Yurtseven (Expiring w bird rights) 1.8 mil
Future 1st round pick
Why the Bulls do this?
Bulls look to get some value for players that are most likely to walk next year. They traded two first round picks to the Magic for Vucevic so I could see them looking to recoup at least one from us before he walks. Coby White has shown flashes of talent but doesn't seem to be a good fit as the Bulls have Ayo and Caruso. Bulls are in need of shooting so getting Max Strus who's a Illinois native and also former Bull makes for a nice homecoming. Could also see them wanting to retain him since shooting has been a major Achilles for that team.
Kyle Lowry coming on board gives them insurance for Lonzo Ball who seems to have something major going on with his knee that they can't even explain. Could possibly be a degenerative issue. In the mean time while he heals up the Bulls stay competitive with the presence of Lowry who also has an extra year on his deal. He's also best friends with DeMar DeRozan so a reunion with him just seems right and also looks good on our part making it seem like we did right by Kyle. Bulls will have close to 60 million in expiring's next year between DeRozan and Lowry making them once again major players in the trade market.
Omer Yurtseven coming back to them gives them an added big to evaluate behind Drummond and Bradley who will be filling in for the void of Vucevic. He should be back in the next few months so when he's healthy he'll be a solid young big to have into the fold and see if he may be a cheap piece to retain for the future.
Why the Heat do this?
Team is in desperate need of adding size to the front court and have very limited assets to do so. Lowry is the only big salary attachment with draft picks that teams would most likely be willing to bite on. Adding Vucevic to the front court would be a major addition as he has a very flexible game that should blend in with Bam due to his outside touch and also to have on the floor as a scoring big when Bam has to sit. He'll give out front court so many options and solve our greatest weakness. Coby White gives us a big 6'4 combo guard to compete for the starting role at PG left behind by Lowry.
Between White, Vincent, and Dragic we should be able to find combinations on a nightly basis to help fill the void left behind by Lowry. It also allows us to put the ball in Butler and Herro's hands more now that Lowry is out so not necessarily a bad thing especially with getting the help in the front court. As for Dragic, it would be a nice touch in this trade to bring him back where he belongs. It would feel almost similar to how we traded back for Wade. Dragic belongs and deserves to retire in a Miami Heat uniform. At 36 he's proven he can still play and comes with great chemistry with this team. He can essentially become the new UD for the Miami Heat. We all know how much Butler loves him so it would ease the blow of losing Lowry. Dragic and Vucevic could also serve as great mentors for Nikola Jovic.
