Led by 12 going into the 4th despite him only having 8, 10 in the 4th/OT after we started running some sets for him.

4th/OT scoring:

Bam and Jimmy - 23
Everyone else - 9 (4 points off take fouls)

Not enough

Give me 25 and 15 like the star he's been sold to the fanbase as.

He's not your typical star, he has to work for his points because he has no great offensive advantage, and it will wear him down over a season, it's a weakness to his type of game.

Ehhh his mid range game and face up/isolation scoring are elite. Until there’s a personnel change to take some burden off him or yurt comes back don’t expect to see much different. He’s relied upon for nearly everything on both ends right now

He went to the FT line 15 times, he's taking a pounding while playing hard at both ends, not only that he had to be gassed to let his offensive man go right past him late in the game with it as close as it was. I worry that a game Miami shouldn't have to worry about like this one is going to overextend him or someone else where they end up with a major injury.

I’ll do a deep dive into how we fix this team in the regular season thread sometime in the next day, maybe tonight

What bigs are averaging that?

Doesn't need to average, but on nights like tonight, playing against an inferior team, at home, rested, maybe respond with a big night.

Bam, the numbers back it too. He’s been knockdown from mid range and he’s been our best iso scorer. Most efficient roller in the league as well with Embiid

This is a win but clearly a loss overall. Just so much wrong overall with this team and it's mainly self inflicted. Typically when a front office screw up so badly someone is fired to keep everyone accountable.

I will say it’s funny to me how we didn’t run sets for Bam until the 4th and OT. It was like a “break in case of emergency” situation. Any other play the whole night was mainly self made.

How accountable should the FO be when it comes to injuries?

Good job guys! This thread had just the right mix of pessimism and despair to lead this team to victory over the lowly Hornets.

6-15 tonight.

That's not good enough against Mason Plumlee and the Hornets

Doesn’t matter, everyone has off shooting nights. We won and he was far from the reason it was even close. Funny how it’s crickets from you on Lowry who makes as much as Bam getting outplayed by DSJ

I've made my feelings on Lowry known plenty, and at this point, I have little expectations for him.
