Told ya Panda. Herro and Bam ain't cornerstones.

We got 80% sample size this season with both them leading and can't win against the the motherbleeping Hornets of the world.

Bam and Herro are high end role players. They can’t elevate a team but a star can elevate them

Look at those missed rotations by the JJJ, Duncan and Rozier. They leave the other team with wide open shots. Bam can't be in 2 places at once.

Not blaming Bam or Herro. They are really good players but as you stated the team is littered with holes. Butler on the other hand would have this group of garbage in a much better place though. It’s too much for Bam and Herro to overcome.

Ya'll can blame the role players but at the end of the day, cornerstones superstars should elevate role players and neither Bam and Herro can do that.

Just missed shots at the end.

Wiggs made some smart plays in clutch.
Bam got 2 wide open looks, you couldn't ask for better looks. He made 1/2.

But the have was lost on defense in the 4th.

I'd really consider playing

Bam
Slomo
Wiggins
Mitchell
One of herro/duncan/highsmith.

You will not win too many 4th quarters playing turnstiles in the back court unless they are on fire. Just too many defense lapses, no hustle for boards, amd leaves Bam and wiggins too stretched out on defense.

Made me appreciate that 2023 Finals run with Butler and all role players. Elite players just do that.

Yes. Atlanta won, btw they lucked out last year and got the 1st pick in the draft. Rootin for the Spurs and Portland tonight.

Don’t do that

Cmon man. Do you really think Bam and Herro can beat the upper standing East teams in the next 5 years?

I'm not even mad at both of them. It's just their level of plays are perfect as 2nd/3rd option with a Superstar and that is a good compliment I would say.

Yeah my realization now watching this group without Butler is this is our reality.

If we get Harper I’m buying a Terry jersey… I owe him that…

We've got 80% of the sample size. I was holding back a bit because it could just be the Jimmy drama and all that, but the reality is starting to set in that we simply lack star power.

Yeah Butler was the super glue keeping this team respectable. He knew it too. This is our reality. Honestly feel bad for Bam and Herro right now.

Only superstar that could do that was Lebron. No other superstar/allstar can do what you are asking. Not Curry, not Dame, not Durant and the list goes on and on.

So sad we’re going to be rooting for losses the rest of the way. Just so degrading when it means we won’t own our ‘26 and ‘28 picks

Strus, Vincent were smart guys that were lighting it up in the playoffs. We don't have anything like that on our roster. If the bench are not contributing on offense we are doomed, because their defense suck.

That run was legendary, Jimmy was at absolutely MVP level since all star break and dragged a bunch of undrafted guys to the finals.
If Herro and Jimmy never get injured they might win it all. They missed the scoring punch (Herro was really good that year too) and Jimmy was clearly not the same since the ankle injury.

Could have been talked about forever, too bad but still one of the best playoff runs I ever watched.

Not at all! I was just laughing at the role player comment.

You find 2 guys that are legit better than Bam and get them to Miami and we’re competing for rings every season without a doubt

Not bad. Top 10 of this year lottery is quite loaded. We are not even beating the Hawks or Bulls for a playoff spot.

Orlando probably going to lose so pretty much still locked in a dog fight but this group is broken so the slide can deepen

If that’s how we view them that’s how we need to start treating them. Wiggins should never lead the team in shot attempts, it’s Bam and Herro with 18-20 a night and everyone else fall in line

Not even worried. We are about to lose the next 7 or so games.

With this roster and lack of talent, we’re in one of the worst spots moving forward. Bad PR after the entire Butler saga. The future outlook is looking pretty morbid as long as the arisons have their head fully up their own asses

Return to Miami Heat
