He's one year longer than Jimmy for way less money (30 mil vs Jimmy's 60-70).

Not that I want him here even that long, but he's definitely a movable contract. He's seen around the league as a guy who will put his nose down and be the garbage pail guy, which a lot of guys aren't willing to do. It just does nothing for us because the whole roster is garbage pail guys.

I would have taken Jimmy 10/10 over this. At least you can get rid of Herro or Bam in a trade for a first option and he's still someone who can create his own offense.

For perspective, I'd argue this roster has more cumulative talent than the 08-09 or 09-10 Heat squads. Not a lot more, but still. That's how important it is in this league you have a true #1 vs guys that are kinda sorta that.

Both first round and done teams, but the Wade squads competed. They were in every game. And you always felt like you had a chance to win. I don't think this team felt competitive once now in the last 2 years.
